Ed,

The post 2014 seismic suggests that there isn't a fault between NT-2 and NT-3 but rather there is one BELOW NT-3

NT-3 is also marginally updip of NT-2, it's lower channel is not updip of the higher channel in NT-2 on the current model either.

Therefore I'm 99% certain if the seal isn't breached it's a larger carbon copy of NT-1/2.

Does anyone here seriously believe that Aminex has found/will find oil in commercial quantities in onshore Tanzania? Personally, I think its so unlikely that its not worth wasting time speculating about.

jonnyT,

You'll find that not only is NT-3 location updip and continues up dip further west, there is also the fault that we previously discussed on here. So it depends on when the oil migrated through Likonde, NT-1 and NT-2 and the significance of those shows. Followed by when the fault formed, before or after migration, and also whether or not the oil was gasified. The contents of NT-3 could be a mirror image of NT-2 only on an even larger scale, or it may contain its own oil reservoir as its faulted from NT-2, and may have faulted after oil migration updip. Followed by NT-2 becoming gas charged later. Again that cannot be proven until its drilled. Personally I'm expecting NT-3 to be very similar to NT-2 as it also have a strong conforming seismic response from AEX's presenations.

Regrads,
Ed.

Haggis (61773), I didn't realise the West stopped at N3? Thought it went a bit further but heh-hoo, you learn something new everyday! ;-)

It's you that's been found out ngms. Fancy suggesting AEX had lost its oil potential because according to you the oil had migrated West. You should have checked where N3 was being drilled before posting that gem of a whopper, as yet again I show you up for a know nothing, trying to fool everyone, when in fact N3 is being drilled to the West of N1, exactly where we would expect the oil to have migrated to in the next step of it's journey up the Ruvuma fan system.

I'll now join the few others and stick you on the filter.

Unfortunately we have had a few bubbles of the Michael Jackson variety on this board. Although I'm sure they will have to google to find out what the hell I'm on about.
