It's at times like this I expect our big buyers to return for more, as they will understand the longer term significance of this result, something short sighted PI's and day traders don't have a clue about. Watch the big buys roll back in once the price stabilises.

Ntorya -2 successful test will probably make the Oman shareholders of Aminex look at now consolidating the whole AEX and SOLO play. IMHO.

The result of 17 mmscf/d is well below the markets expectatiosn. The stock will trade down below 5p within the next days.

It's a massive result . The flow rates were restricted because of the enormous pressure . It's very plain to see that this is a mega discovery. Guys , I don't think we all realise how big this is . Nyotora 3 is coming up, Don't forget we are the operator and Ha be 75% !!!!!
Sound Energy has under 10% of its discovery and NO pipeline yet !!

This is a MEGA discovery with so much more to come .

17MMscfd - WORLD CLASS WELL!Today

"I really cannot understand why anyone who is invested in AEX is at all concerned, what we have here is within the classification of a WORLD CLASS WELL! Sound Energy achieved a flow rate of 17MMscfd on TE6 when they were at around 45p.........well the rest is history and we all know how that turned out!"

"Restricting the flow rate ensures that well integrity is maintained for future production, if you blast the pants off the well to get a maximum flow rate then all you are doing is potentially damaging the well for future production."

Highlights:
• 51 metres gross reservoir section associated with significant gas influx and pressure
• Company was required to increase drilling mud weights in order to maintain well control and
operate within safety parameters - higher mud weights resulted in reservoir invasion
• Company limited test flow rates with a 40/64” choke and the well flowed dry, high quality gas at
average stable rate of 17 MMscfd (2,833 BOED)
• No formation water was produced during the test, leading the Company to conclude that the
Ntorya-1 and Ntorya-2 area contains a significant volume of gas in place

NO FORMATION WATER PRODUCED (VERY SIGNIFICANT)

Who cares what the market thinks today.... they've clearly discovered a significant asset, the size of which will come clear in coming weeks/months (relatively a very very short time for many long term holders here! - Korea was the original prize!!)

Neil Ritson, Solo's Chairman commented:

"Flow rates were restricted for technical reasons; however, they fully meet the requirements for a declaration of commerciality and application for a development licence. A forward work programme, including perhaps acquiring 3D seismic data and drilling further appraisal/development wells, will we believe lead to a gas development of national significance. This is a highly significant well result for Solo, our partner Aminex and to the United Republic of Tanzania."

EdgeIn - May I ask what is your view on the RNS and the view presentation slides?

My take is that the long term prospect is looking really good but not sure what will be the short-term market reaction here!
