geo is US and oxy too - they talk.
and geo is in bed with the videsh with their SA JV for M&A

if one new offer comes up it will probably not be from one of the usual suspects and it must be very big Co to give some kicks around to clear the mess

so very little chance but not impossible

I'd rather have cast the runes. A five year investment decimated by a bunch of amatuers.

Can't say I'm surprised with what I have seen, the BOD have plainly not been working for the shareholders for some time. The ultimate problem with believing what a great deal maker someone is that at some point they will make a deal for themselves not for you. :o(

There is a break fee payable if a better offer comes along. I would expect OXY and ONGC to be getting their heads together on this as only 23% has been approved. Nice to know Michinoko got a sight of the deal first.

Disappointed but as usual some must have been in the know as the share price never moved past 19ish. I had thought mid 20s, doubt there will be a counter suspect institutions will be agreeable.

At least it's over and there is some relief in saying that and I can put my money into something that might actually give me a decent return I've RRE, JSE, PTAL or I3E.

I was expecting a disappointing mid 20s bid but was pretty shocked to see 19p!!

Multiple parties through the data room, only one offer, I can only conclude that the company is in a right bloody mess behind the scenes.

With AMER`s cash pile and production they will have their money back in two years, not a bad deal for Geopark.

Learnt there is a stitch up here as the original M&P bid, whilst not all cash was t much lower. The board have outdone themselves again and sold us all down the river.
