Can understand that thought...but they also have a good track record in news deserts of coming up with a final deal that explains why a news desert was in company's best interest....plat for exampje

I need to congratulate the ones on this post who are long term in this share because the total lack of company updates at key times, good or bad has to be against AIM rules. Like I said last time round as soon as I get clear of my investment I am gone. I am up 22% on Tullow Oil over 7 days simply by tracking the price of oil, there is something wrong with this business which management are hiding. I get it that this post will be shouted down by those stuck in their positions.

This morning's conviction ebbing. Bertie ain't showed up, again. Maybe a late after hours tara-tara and a fanfare on the bugle mondatorning. Oh well trying to keep spirits up. My under 25p buy looked good then but going a bit cheaper now. It Friday ffs ..bas?

If there is to be a Friday Bertie then should start about now. Someone has been stashing sub-25p all day. Not excluding myself. The as the pithy bas with hos famed economical retort says. Wtfdik. Other than Monday is another month and summer is over.

bigbas #45045 agreed.

It wouldn't surprise me to learn that AMER has already started exporting small amounts. I remember JW saying that the pipeline had to start slowly and then build up gradually. Are they waiting until they are sure everything is working and they have a respectable daily figure to report? Or are they still waiting for the final Ecuadorian rubber stamp? No ideal personally, obviously. Usual uninformed guesswork.

Thanks oilandgas and Francis and others that kindly posted info and their views, much appreciated. Old posters sometimes forget there are always new investors that appreciate reading updates of "old" info as it makes it clearer when making or backing an investment decision.
I'm thinking poo will steadily rise to around 60$ this yr which'd make Amer look attractive under 35

I would expect them to RNS it.

If only because it is an initial trigger point towards the free "project based" options we generously gave them.

Val, I believe First Energy regard mgt production figures for end 2016 as conservative with OBA open.

It looks like there is a persistent seller but that can be for any number of reasons not necessarily that they think the share is doomed. We just need to see the oba actually delivering for things to move forward. I wonder if they will just say at some point that x barrels have been transported over the last y time frame? As opposed to we're opening the taps today?

I think you will find, Francis, that assumptions have been based on the oil price in H1 and there would therefore be additional upside at current oil prices.

As for Rex Harbour, his significant holdings reduction was pre March and there is no evidence to suggest that he joined in the recent "raid": he was exiting high 20s not low 20s. Why would he want to "rip the life out of this share" when he is a significant holder?

The "reality" is that the OBA is key (volume profit and spare capacity) and "50 dollar oil" would ice the cake.

Big Bigtime7 Amer are debt free and relatively strong financially but missed first half figures but forecasting strong second half based on oil price rise and OBA pipeline reducing costs. I suggest you track an oil stock that rides on the wave of the price of Oil such as Tullow as AMER is notorious in breaking deadlines and 30p tops this year and that's based on them hitting 7k bopd and selling the OBA to other producers in the region. Reality is 60 to 70dollar oil for this to fly not to mention Rexy boy ripping the life out of this share when ever he likes.
