30/9/2016 07:35 | But everyone here knows all that. It seems like such a waste of effort to type what can be found on the website, but perhaps you were bored | lucyp00p
29/9/2016 23:49 | Thanks bas, I saw the commerzbank news earlier today It's about time rest of world stood up to The US Anyway that's o/t Oil still rising, it's got a long way to go. | big7ime
29/9/2016 23:32 | Less flippantly, I go along entirely with what Bas said. | tonyrelaxes
29/9/2016 23:12 | O/T - watch out for (bad) news tomorrow re Commerzbank | bigbas
29/9/2016 23:11 | Look at the web site and the latest presentation will answe most of your questions. Any other comments by individuals are simply that - opinions - some more expoert than others. In my opinion, we have an excellent operations team but a lousy exec team who are greedy beyond belief, The company has excellent prospects, no debt, cash in the bank, good assets and a pipeline that will reduce transport costs considerably and anable it to earn revenue by transporting others oil. AMER have NEVER delivered anythin within the timeframe that they have specified and therefore they have a credibility problem in the industry - my view. Even the RNS released last week has missed the timeframe of openin tha pipeline within days because in my definition, and I guess most others, days = less than a week as always BWTFDIK | bigbas
29/9/2016 23:09 | Nice one tony | big7ime
29/9/2016 23:02 | Big7ime "help me out by posting pros and cons as they see them" Easy. I've seen them all. JW, the CEO, is the Pro. The non-execs appear to be the Cons. | tonyrelaxes
29/9/2016 22:39 | This ones just come to my attn as the chart has a nice double bottom and is of interest as it coincides with the oil price turning up and I need more oil in the portfolio. I know a little about the pipeline, their drilling programme etc but I need to do more research so if anyone would kindly like to help me out by posting pros and cons as they see them I would be most grateful as time is of the essence I make a lot of inv decisions on gut feeling which has sometimes paid off big in the past, there are obvious choices if one believes oil is going to shoot up which I'm not certain of but its in their interests to come to an agreement. What is their financial health Are they heavily in debt /are the borrowings in sterling? What chance of more big finds in Colombia? Was it necessary to make a takeover and is it any good? Muchus Gracias | big7ime
29/9/2016 22:00 | Perhaps some of the day traders were happy with the 10% from 22.75p to just over 25p? Not all have the same strategy, Susdit, so there can be no single answer to your question. C | charlieeee
29/9/2016 21:47 | Rex reducing holding still in my view. Overhang will clear soon with the last few days of heavy trading (buys have dwarfed sales from what I have seen) looking forward to breakout soon IMO. GL All ;-) | handlebar123
29/9/2016 21:26 | Not one for posting these days but having watched the trades this week I have got the impression that the share price is being held at c 24.50p to 25p max. The sells today looked equal to the buys and I ask myself why on earth would there be a constant seller of AMER shares when their future looks so great. Something does not look right. Anyone know why the seller persists ? TIA | susdit
29/9/2016 19:56 | All .. when OBA was a few weeks away this is what happened 27 to 32p very quickly ( when we believed Amer BoD) in Jun: And the market does not believe it until it sees it .. and only when 7.2kbopd are flowing will the share price rise.. but I think it will happen and oil will flow and we will. E in the early thirties, this time next week. | oilandgas1
29/9/2016 18:25 | The monthly oil stock challenge is on! A test for your oil stock picking ability. Deadline for entries is this Sunday 2 October 2016. | flyingbull
29/9/2016 17:14 | Friday Big Bertie day. Analysts reports hitting the street. | valentine
29/9/2016 14:38 | seller turned buyer? some very large juicey blocks goin thru at offer price and not bid market makers goin to ave to move it to 26p soon coz they cant keep handin that stock out especially if rexy boyo has dried up it gonna be flyin next week | fsawatcher
29/9/2016 13:48 | As long as it keeps rising before the next Leicester Tigers rugby game. I want the guy who I recommended the shares on Sunday to think I'm a god | lucyp00p
29/9/2016 13:33 | I agree this will rise steadily over the weeks following OBA news. I'm expecting a steady rise to 40p . | seball
29/9/2016 13:16 | I might be a sucker for punishment but haven't been able to resist adding to my holding recently. I feel that boredom and timing credibility have left this stock in limbo and the BOD haven't cared as they can't sell their stock (or their options) so the day to day, week to week, month to month, price is of little consequence to them. They care about the 2-3-5 year price or the take-out price but little else I would guess. However IMHO the fundamentals have to catch up with the current undervaluation and this has to be one of the best prospect in the small oilers on a six month view. Maybe I need to remove the rose tinted specs but I sincerely hope we are close to reaping the rewards we have V patiently awaited (and the chart is looking hopeful again) | the dark horse
29/9/2016 13:16 | If we can follow the historical trends with AMER, then it would be more likely to be the small daily increases as opposed to the "BOOM 40%".The likes of TDH, Mar and quid would be able to confirm this though. Irrespective it's still a LTH for myself despite the greed and arrogance of our board......... | ladeside
29/9/2016 13:15 | Time to throw some serious readies at this one. | jotoha2
29/9/2016 13:12 | Knowing my luck, the announcement will be made just before Deutsche bank declare bankruptcy | lucyp00p
29/9/2016 12:38 | Far from being priced in I believe the opposite is true. It's still being priced at disappointment and incredulity over timescales. The market rarely prices anything in until it's done these days and Amerisur shows a good reason why. The premium may well increase far more than some suspect although I expect early days profit taking before it goes from strength to strength and all the fundamentals and transformational nature of the OBA kick in. | foiledagain
29/9/2016 12:27 | Yep, I wouldn't be surprised if the pipeline is already priced in. Still waiting for 25.00p to be properly taken out for a nice double bottom. As for Malcy, I'd like to know who pays him. I can guess... M | marnewton
29/9/2016 12:23 | Malcy might be a yolk but my brain is scrambled. First Thursday of Oct for breakfast. GC is hard boiled when comes to news. Oct is probably good for tax reasons and of course the vote result will be a known. Not that they'll cancel the oleoducto in the event of a negative. | valentine |
