Tend to agree with you Ladeside, but then I don't pretend to be able to predict the market. My take is simple, Amerisur is cheap and will, at some point, re-rate. What triggers that re-rating could be an unknown, could be a known or could be someone buying a few million shares and giving us some momentum.

The other way of looking at it is that the pipeline isn't the end game, revenue from the pipeline is. So we may not get a 40% move, but shipping first oil through the pipeline de-risks the operation that bit more and should therefore get us a boost.

Not wishing to put a dampener on things, however I still believe that we will not get the huge lift, following the pipeline announcement, that many believe.This market very rarely hands out "freebies" for known knowns which are 99% certain.

Don't get me wrong, the FARC situation and the proposed OPEC cut are both hugely welcome but again I just feel that those holding out for a 30% to 40% rise on the Oleducto may be rather disappointed.

Unlikely to get to 40p in 2016, OPEC news is good and Russia should follow up with a prod cut too (IMHO).

Amer OBA news ( between now and 6oct) will get us into early 30p range until production deals done and we move from 7.2 to 10kbopd. Amer then need deals to fill the pipeline in 2017 (50 to 70kbopd possible in total), but maybe in slow stages( $6 per barrel revenue to Amer likely).

Shorters watch out!!
