It would take a long time - beyond the renewal dates

I don't think we actually want Airbus building more 380s as that would hit residual values if the airlines can get brand new replacements and new spare parts become available.

Excellent article & sums the situation up perfectly. End of lease values likely much higher than currently booked

Mattjos - I agree with you - I flew on a Cathy Pacific A380 from Heathrow to Hong Kong - best phane I have flown on my a mile - ultra smooth, perfect take up and landing - should call it dream plane.
In the recent year - each time they have gone ex-dividend they have lost more than the dividend - share price was 47 then over the year fell to 40, now recovered to 44p.
How will it go on 11th July? A while ago I did double my holding though.

Mattjos - that's the bog standard notice when you buy any investment trust, something to do with KIDs.

Just a load of admin BS that results in one extra mouse click as compared to any other Buy/Sell actoin.

Is good in some ways. If it was easier to trade in then I doubt the Yield would be as much as more participants would likely have the price much higher already

share price here was around 80p when Covid hit the world, having already fallen from the prior £1+ levels when the news of the end of A380 manufacturing came out.

Covid is clearly now over and global air travel is booming.
Both Boeing and Airbus are struggling to meet demand for new planes, in particular Boeing has become a disaster.

Passenger affection and demand for the A380 has remained strong and is in fact growing, for very good reason because it's a damn fine plane and the passenger experience is second-to-none (particularly after the demise of the 747).

This company is well (conservatively) run & the dividend intentions at 2p/Quarter and virtually back at the prior 2.06p / Quarter yet the share price is less than half where it was & now less shares in issuance.

it's generally always the house (Panmure) on Bid. They seem to be soaking up any loose sells into the market that the background constant buying is flushing out time to time.

Picked up another 6000 at 44p.
With 5 Ex Dividends in next 53 weeks, 22.7% return in just over 12 months.

I noticed bid has moved to 43.8p. This morning.

Message today. Things are looking good here.

Dear Mr Roberts & Ms Harris

We recently let you know we were restricting any further investment in your holding of Amedeo Air Four Plus Ltd ORD NPV. This was because we hadn’t received the annual fair price and value assessment to assure us the investment is offering good outcomes and value for investors.

We’ve now received the assessment of value for this holding. The restrictions have therefore been removed and it’s now available to buy again, if and when you wish to.

As a reminder, if you had an existing income reinvestment or regular saving instruction into the investment, it would continue as normal.

Some fairly large trades going through at 44P without any price improvements, which is quite unusual. Looking good for a rise next few days. Before going Ex Div.

at 44p to buy that is 4.54% Yield for this Quarter & 18.18% Annual Yield.

Markets are in a distinctly comatose state this week

I never took Global seriously, but they do have one plane, with plans for a total of 4. A second hand market might exist after all. hxxps://www.aviation24.be/airlines/global-airlines/global-airlines-airbus-a380-arrives-in-uk-marks-transatlantic-milestone/
