Gold and silver flying again this beautiful morning, and the clock is counting down for Q2 production numbers.

4p can only be days away.

C-19 cases seem to be on a downward trend in Kaz since they peaked on July 9th.

AAZ referred to covid and bad weather in their recent report, aswell as one open pit coming to end of life, so although they've made loads of progress the market viewed the report as a hint that production may have been hit and will be for a while yet.

I don't recall ALTN saying anything other than minimal impact on operations from covid.

We'll see hopefully this week.

Qtr 2 should see an average gold price of around $1700 v $1280 2019.

Should make great % headline reading when released.

Just hope they haven't dropped the ball somewhere

We may see some HGM investors exiting now and in the coming weeks as Fortiana t/o starts to bite. They are likely to reinvest in a gold miner and where better to put their funds than ALTN?!!

that isnt the fault of EUA, maybe the cost implication for CGH puts a dampener on the share price until more is known?

In Eurasia's case, they have put their assets and the company up for sale, have potential for 40m oz of palladium rich PGM mineralization, and have everything they need on their doorstep, and with Swiss mega bank UBS negotiating on their behalf top price is likely. Now, if CGH decided to ask UBS to find a buyer, what would their share price rise to?

CGH has a regional exploration licence with a potential for 30m+ oz of gold, has 10m oz already defined and is producing 55k oz currently with reasonable plans to expand almost 10 fold over the next few years. And yet you can get 3 CGHs for the price of one EUA.

i think the issue that investors fail to grasp, is that Eurasia have two assets, Monchetundra and West Kytlim, but both are not merely isolated sites, they are centres of a regional hub, which under the fairly new Russian system Eurasia have priority rights to anything withing the 5km radius of their license areas, so once those areas have been granted they can then step out further and further...they are REGIONAL rather than simply isolated mines.

We'll have to agree to differ on EUA. I think that it is wildly overvalued.

I am always a bit cautious about rare earths. Whether it is apocryphal or not, the perception that China controls the pricing to keep others out is widespread. MKA had a link with the US DoD I believe. If that link was firmed up then I would be interested.

Ditto, with similar weighting, ALTN has now stepped ahead.

Had a quick look at it Ex as I wanted exposure to Rare Earths but I invested in MKA instead as it looked much better value and has a large partner to take it into production.
Also Paul Atherely has a chequered history at previous companies Leyshon Resources and Berkeley Energia
