Since open this morning the price of this on the live feeds, Yahoo money and MSN money has fluctuated between 2.86 and 3.14 Do they ever update it here?

Lets not hope for too much inflation. There is no point making loads of money on gold stocks if it makes all of your friends and family poor.

we havent really had inflation yet, merely the expectation of inflation...tho some would disagree and say that we've had inflation for years but they keep changing the basket.

Remember that previous high for gold, $1920 in 2011, was a spike right at the end of a bull run, and straight after that the gold price started to collapse.

This new high for gold of $2000+ is not a spike. It is consistent with the general trend of the gold price rising and the US$ falling. Most probably gold has years of rises ahead of it as the CB's money printing madness continues and inflation rip accelerates.

With $2000 gold there will be gold headlines all around the world for days and weeks.

We will see early days of the general public suddenly sit up and take notice.

We will see an interest like the early days of Bitcoin.

Lack of investment opportunities everywhere .... except gold!!
