05/8/2020 08:02 | And as for manufacturing.. they produce virtually nothing ... they even claim that Golf company Titleist is a great manufacturing success... but they import the shaft, grip and club heads from Emerging markets and just score them on !!!!!LOL. Banana Republic Anyway let's agree to disagree as I'm sure we are annoying the locals here by now ! | ![]() onedayrodders
05/8/2020 07:58 | The only thing u r able to talk about is a handful of tech stocks ... just like CNBC every night, because the REAL economy outside those is going nowhere so that's all they will focus on.Tech stocks used to be considered high risk and rightly so ... now I have heard analysts refer to investors as returning to tech as 'safe havens' !!Because there is nothing else left, Created thousands of well paid jobs ? Not sure those stuck in an Amazon Warehouse running around like headless chickens to meet targets and those in Chinese factories working for peanuts would agree. | ![]() onedayrodders
05/8/2020 07:48 | In this market sellers of gold and gold stocks like ALTN will become more and more scarce whilst buying across the whole spectrum of investors will increase. | ![]() stevea171

05/8/2020 07:23 | Not sure EUA have defined anywhere near that level of resource and asset sales generally focus on what is defined. It appears extremely overvalued on that basis and, given that there is much better value elsewhere in the sector, I am surprised that investors aren't moving on. | ![]() jc2706

04/8/2020 22:13 | surely the problem for profitable miners is tax? better for them to spend that cash flow on the assets of minnows to avoid a tax bill and grow the assets of the company. A great example of that is the purchase of Eurasia Mining by...whoever buys it. If say Norlisk have a profit of $2 billion that would normally get taxed, why not just spend that $2 billion to buy $30 billion of palladium and platinum in the ground? As for Chesterfield (CHF), they only have a mkt cap of about £4.5m but have finance for a year, great highly regarded management with tier 1 contacts and experience, and they have discovered copper/gold in a very nice place to operate. Why wouldnt they find a willing buyer or benefactor to buy or JV with and ten bag the company? I have smallish holdings in ROCK and ECR, both of which have discovered gold, shallow, nice grades, good jurisdiction, and i'm sure will find cash flooding their way. As for Eurasia Mining, it has long been my belief that they would sell their assets, that they have been having discussions for years on this, but they wanted to get all permits and wait for the financial disaster before selling at the correct cash price, after all what use is cash before a crash when its value is halved or worse? My guess is that most financiers want to get rid of their fiat currency in exchange for tangible assets as soon as possible at whatever price they have tom pay, before its too late! | ![]() excellance
04/8/2020 21:34 | ... John Maynard Keynes once said, “By a continuing process of inflation, governments can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens.” That sums those crooked FED clowns up perfectly | ![]() onedayrodders

04/8/2020 21:08 | Yes I think so. FRES and HOC nice ways to get solid exposure to silver. | ![]() brasso3
04/8/2020 21:06 | Brasso that 1.2million trade has got to be a rollover hasn't it? | ![]() c0lin1
04/8/2020 21:00 | I have also been looking at FRES and HOC too. both have plenty of room to run IMO....just coming out from covid cloud. They have both been lagging, but silver perking up has lit a fire under them. Also like POG - long term looks great, but put off by current coup attempt. It makes good sense to derisk and pick up lumps of proper producers with EUA windfall. ;-) | dubjon
04/8/2020 20:33 | Maybe I'll downsize some of my highly speculative minnow explorers in favour of something like old favourite FRES. I haven't even looked at FRES for probably a year...Didn't they have some big problems in Mexico? | ![]() excellance
04/8/2020 19:06 | Gold does its own thing and not always in step with what u expect ... but regardless the trend is up and bull market in place for years. We are well set IMHO | ![]() onedayrodders |
