Now would be a great time for a buyer to take this off the market.

I'm sure the 2 x CPR'S were produced in order to sell the business aswell as to get the bank funding.

Recently some posters have suggested a buyout price of $250m but I'd expect at least double that.

The shares were trading at 22p in 2007.

And above 15p for all of the 2 year period from mid 2006-mid 2008.

Nice to see Altyn being noticed and recognised a bit more now. Compared with the likes of GGP, the valuation anomaly is ludicrous!

The US are the most indebted Country in the world ... their economy is built on artifical low to zero interest rates, which has meant companies feasting on borrowing to facilitate share buy backs to boost their own share prices and bonuses.

This has also encouraged huge consumer credit debt and now 50m are unemployed and the vast majority have saved nothing for a rainy day.

This accelerated back with Bernanke after the financial crisis in 2008 when he started QE and said "it's not monetizing debt as it's only temporary" yeah righto ... that was 12 years ago !! and even before Covid the current FED have printed amounts that Dwarf Bernanke ... just to keep paper assets alive.

There is nothing strong about that and it's a pack of cards perched on the biggest debt bubble in history

They have been printing money from thin air and issuing treasuries to the Chinese that are constantly rolled over as they will never be able to repay them.

The whole thing is a giant ponzi scheme where the US are just a huge consumer based on money from China they will never pay back, and China have played along because they buy Chinese goods.

It's all coming apart now and serves them right for protecting their wall street mates and destroying free market price discovery and killing off savings rates for the less well off where it matters most.

I had thought for ages that the euro would surely collapse and I'm amazed it hasn't yet done so.

I honestly don't believe any will collapse to zero, but will instead be heavily devalued, not directly by decree but indirectly by many dilution policies.

Well said dubjon. It’s also true that the US economy is the strongest in the world, notwithstanding the Democrats’ attempts to turn it into a lawless hell with rocketing homicide rates. The price of gold is heading higher, not because of the depreciation of the dollar but in part due to the risks of the euro zone falling apart.

I hate to say it, but the pound, euro and yen will collapse before the dollar. It is the global reserve currency, and all commodities are traded in dollars.
