07/8/2020 13:07 | Can sell large quantities online again at 2.8p. Maybe a break above 3p is on before close.... | brasso3
07/8/2020 13:06 | Given the strong rise in the gold price it must be tempting for the company to fast track mining from the open pit at Teren-Sai. | sclper
07/8/2020 11:55 | Hi Linz,O/T: Yes, the Brasilian record on COVID is dismal; the new ADVFN SRB BB has eradicated the interpersonal stuff..What would push SRB relatively over the Resistance threshold in the next couple of months? Obvious candidates are H1 financials/cash insight and outlook (2029: 14th Aug) or the likely, imminent Coringa mine licence award. Beyond that are Q3 production, full workforce reinstated, resumption of surface exploration..SRB had a magical H2 share price rise, IMO largely due to clearance of exiting ii's overhang/hangover; IMHO the best is yet to come. .Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
07/8/2020 11:52 | Buys at 3.05p / 3.06p | brasso3
07/8/2020 10:53 | CNR gold are looking strong and could begin producing at anytime. | bmnsa
07/8/2020 09:07 | Thanks, Tightfist! Yes, I'm fully aware of SRB, too. Though have no active position at present. Been effected by the Covid palaver quite a bit this year, and the popular BB on this site is as excruciating as trying to watch Sky 'News'. but it's very much towards the very top of my watch list. Top advice for a quality Au producer... | linz22
07/8/2020 08:45 | Yes, most gold miners publish quarterly production figues independently of the half-yearly financial statements, I think ALTN should do as well to improve their credibility. I think they will, just not sure when. | tim000
07/8/2020 08:41 | Hi Linz,.O/T: Just to add to your dilemma, IMO Serabi Gold SRB is well worth a look. By comparison(!) management are very credible and transparent (see regular CRUX or brr interviews), dilution is being minimised - and they have some excellent growth plans and exciting, potentially organically funded, exploration prospects..One to add to the list? tightfist | tightfist
07/8/2020 07:18 | I suspect that there will not be a separate Q2 report and this information will be included in the interims. I have no problem with this although my preference is for separate production and financial releases. | jc2706
07/8/2020 05:44 | IF (and it's a big IF) there is a Q2 production update it is likely to be Monday if it keeps in line with the Q1 timing. However, given H2 results were announced in September last year they might wait until then and do both. Either is good for me, not fussed. Then, would be 2nd Monday in November for Q3 production update (If is still fairly large ;) ) | nevgroom
06/8/2020 22:05 | Due any day . Iam quietly confident .... glad to be in now before this becomes fashionable with the herd | sammythevoice84
06/8/2020 19:50 | Tomorrow guys for news or next week? | miguelh21
06/8/2020 19:32 | There has been some unfair comparisons with AAZ on here today IMO. AAZ is the gold standard of LSE/ AIM gold miners. They have never diluted the share holders since IPO. Give me another example of that? ALTN did have to give away 154m shares to get that bond deal away. AAZ only has 110m shares in issue! When AAZ was in trouble many year back Reza Vaziri stepped in wth a low interest unsecured $3m loan to keep them in business. ALTN and AAZ are different beasts and ALTN is much earlier on in the curve. We await the next quarterly update from ALTN to see if they are potentially the next AAZ (4p to 175p). | brasso3
06/8/2020 19:25 | Indeed, but perhaps important that the bond issue succeeded and we got the cash quickly? The 154m shares were an incentive, so presumably the strike price would have been nominal or at least very favourable. | excellance
06/8/2020 18:37 | Thanks JC2706 Indeed a very generous incentive on 3% of our equity.IMHO. | goldrush
06/8/2020 18:35 | Indeed - it made me a bit suspicious about cronyism/corruption eg. is the bond issuer a member of the Family?! | cyberbub
06/8/2020 18:22 | Not sure that there is much difference to be honest. They were described as options I believe but there was no strike price given. | jc2706
06/8/2020 17:43 | Highly Geared and JC2706 Sorry I could not find where the 158 million shares are mentioned.....are they warrants or options..... Thanks | goldrush
06/8/2020 17:13 | Yes, probably the most bizarrely generous incentive for a bond issue I have seen. | jc2706
06/8/2020 16:41 | I guess some of the 158 million agency broker shares for the $10 million bond issue are finding their way into the market. Still, all going steadily in the right direction here, which is fine. | highly geared
06/8/2020 16:26 | OK, topped up just in time at 2.89p. Life's too short. Don't want to die wondering... | linz22
06/8/2020 16:18 | What, even with gold at $2100..? | linz22
06/8/2020 16:14 | Doubt it. Look at Altn chart it goes 5 steps forward and then 4 steps back so probably going sub 2.5p before moving again. Just guessing | 78steve
06/8/2020 16:11 | Hmm, yes. Unfortunately, I am hugely overweight here (not a bad problem to have) and would rather like to bring my AAU holding closer in line with that of Altyn. That's proving to be difficult, mind, as the price keeps going up..! On the other hand, today of all days, with the gold and silver prices going ballistic, Altyn is in fact down, by quite some, which is tempting me to sell even more of a sideways moving share to reinvest here, again. If I do that quickly now before the bell the other stock will suddenly start to climb. But, if I don't do that Altyn's bound to rocket tomorrow. What to do..??? | linz22
06/8/2020 16:01 | Interesting to note that the directors are continuing to cash in their shares over at GGP. Hardly surprising considering the life changing amounts concerned! | jc2706 |
