Maybe a small proportion of his holding, but it's still 1m shares and with few buys, has a disproportionate impact.

the director seller is non-exec, retired this year, sells a tiny portion of his holding...my oh my... as for brexit fears this business is truly positioned for european sales (although the exciting growth is likely elsewhere).
I topped up this afternoon.

This is Brexit related-fear of a no deal impacting sale of products into EU and if the EU wants to get awkward. Director timing of sales unhelpful-home or no home.

One Director selling a smallish portion of his large holding does not amount to the Board selling out. We need to remember that Directors have a home to keep up or a new larger home to move into, a family to look after, school fees to pay etc., so nothing ominous about a Director s selling a portion of his shares to raise cash for his needs.

The share price today is much below where it should be. The fundamentals are sound and solid and point in the direction of 80p+ as fair value. The markets in general are wobbly and much of that is to be blamed on Trump and his threats of trade wars. Nobody benefits form trade wars, least of all the American consumers who will have to pay more for their imported goods. America can not compete with China on prices, not even by doubling or trebling import levies. The only ways to compete with China on prices is to decimate US labour costs. Try that one Trump!

Can't blame investors for following the Board's example-sell!

Wonder if Neil Woodford had any APH shares.
He's been dumping pharma shares.

Not just any old NED - John Dawson founded the company back in 1996 and developed his concept into the company that is doing us proud today.

I don't recall and cannot find details of any recent award to John. There was the grant of 1.25m share options to the incoming CEO exercisable @ 81.6p on 19.9.21 subject to achieving defined targets for the company.

I think it is pretty harsh to draw any adverse conclusions about John's sale.
