17/7/2009 15:13 | "I have advised Alan what he should and needs to do"........I normally try to ignore this drivel but this really takes some beating.Unbelievable | mikey34
17/7/2009 12:21 | Good chance of suspension dont you think? I mean given the path and trend of events? I would say be very careful and get out if cant afford to lose literally all original investment. | silverbackalpha
17/7/2009 11:55 | I remain upbeat and beieve that even though small volumes...others are too.Lets face it AGM all passed and finance in place and we could see this back to 10p...Not much of an improvement compared to the price of 2 years ago but still a step in the right direction.Like you I am eagerly awaiting the outcome of the AGM | ant15
16/7/2009 22:38 | What about the AGM and fund raising? Same old cr*p here.........as I overlook the sea this stormy evening. £100m pipe, p3 cetilistat, takeda, tim said this, a deal is coming, blockbuster drug, up to 20p. Seen it all before. Start up the life support machine. SHOW ME THE MONEY. LOL | silverbackalpha
16/7/2009 16:56 | Itcould be sooner .they say cetilistat finishes phase 3 in Japan in 11 months time . | ecohouse
16/7/2009 16:54 | silver - well no not at all! not withstanding your azm hunches may be correct - all mm was saying was that you have twice led us to believe you attended the agm when in fact it was an analysts luncheon - there is a large difference!! | dunderheed
16/7/2009 16:40 | Answers below: mad mike - 16 Jul'09 - 16:21 - 23981 of 23981 silver, you are at it again, teling untruths:- "I met a few investors at the AGM and just looked at them, family men types, chumming up to Tim, tucking into lunch, and chatting about their investment. It was truly comical as it wasnt investment as all." 1) You never went to the last AGM. I know, because you told us at the time! LOL! Wnet to the analysts luncheon. I have recorded it BTW. 2) there was no lunch for shareholders at the AGM. There was only some coffee & a few biscuits in a foyer. I was referring the analysts update. 3) I did not see any of the Board even chating with shareholders over coffee/biscuits in the foyer See above. 3) During the AGM, Tim got it from shareholders with both barrels, including a long volley throughout the AGM from me. Not something remotely approaching "chumming up to Tim". Accepted. So you are clearly talking about a completely different event, not the AGM. This is at least the second time you have made incorrect factual statements about the AGM. If you ever bothered to turn up, you would know what actually has happened at an AGM. Why dont you just stick to the points I made instead of points scoring. You know and I know that the points I have made are correct as to the stability of this comany. Yet you persist in diverting attention to me, instead of AZM. | silverbackalpha
16/7/2009 16:24 | This is now officially on the move...29th at this rate could see us back to 10p....Why not be optimistic...There are too many doubters on this thread...THINK OF THE VALUE OF THE PIPELINE 100 million plus...even if its 2-3 years away this is a good buy!! | ant15

16/7/2009 16:08 | Do corpses actually still breathe? | dunderheed
16/7/2009 16:08 | Check out Gordon Gecko. Well considering 100 shares is only £3 I hope not. How many you going in for Vic, 1,2 million? How about a majority shareholding? | vow
16/7/2009 16:04 | final pop? sure looks like it. like a corpse' final breath. | silverbackalpha
16/7/2009 15:56 | I am here because first of all I wanted to reveal McCarthy for the person he was. That is done now. Secondly, I would like to buy some shares as I see the potential but only if various things slot into place. I know all investment is high risk, so the next few weeks will be interesting as regards this stock. I also wanted to be proved right, and that was an ego type of thing. I met a few investors at the AGM and just looked at them, family men types, chumming up to Tim, tucking into lunch, and chatting about their investment. It was truly comical as it wasnt investment as all. Theres a lot of people like that around here at the moment, probably own 100 shares or so. | silverbackalpha
16/7/2009 15:49 | i was kidding , you are correct on all your points , why are you on this thread , to help us ? | psyco
16/7/2009 15:41 | Why psycho? I think the stuff I posted is objectively verifyable is it not? | silverbackalpha
16/7/2009 15:18 | Good luck Psyco:-) Looks like you are not the only one taking a cheeky bet on this one. | vow
16/7/2009 15:15 | silverbackaplha, i disagree with all the above points , your r compleatly wrong imo, they will probably go bust cause i just bout 250000 shares at 2.5p | psyco
16/7/2009 14:40 | silverbackalpha - 16 Jul'09 - 14:37 - 23972 of 23972 edit I think that pop was probably the last chance to get out of Alyzyme before it goes belly up. I base it on the following: 1. Funding is hard to come by these days. 2. Azm is all tapped out. 3. There is no management team. 4. McComfy bled this company for all he could get. 5. The company has little credibility. 6. The company has little or no product pipe and assets. 7. There is a real possiblity Cetilistat will fail and not go to P3 with Takeda. 8. There is a real chance this comapny will be delisted. That is 8 reasons, based on fact. Now tell me your stupid basis to form a positive view. Drives me nuts how thick and stupid people actually are around here. What is your mental age? I am being serious. You answer my points, and tell me otherwise and the basis of it. Convince me you are a person with a brain cell. | silverbackalpha

16/7/2009 14:24 | silverbackalpha - not sure what you mean or whether it really needs explanation, someone/s is buying azm (shares), regardless to the obvious risk as to this companies future. | capricious
16/7/2009 14:15 | mad mike - I agree with all of the above and will be upset to see if the Tim has received any 'compensation' for leaving the company. If he has I would like to suggest a class action against company - because I assume when he was chatting to all and sundry in phone conversation stating very clearly there were no cash worries - he was working as agent for the company? I am hoping of course that such a course of action will not be necessary and that azm have not given him a penny. | dunderheed
16/7/2009 14:07 | Now back to navel gazing:- the_doctor you must be very naive (or a friend of Tim's) if you think Tim isn't directly to blame for:- - guaranteeing a cetilistat deal by this year's AGM - stating on his appointment, that he would do a major deal before another fund raising, when he did the opposite. - stating repeatedly that he was in late stage cetilistat discussions, which never materialised, - stating transforming deals right across the portfolio, which never happened, - stating we were off to the races, when we never left the starting line You are right that a CEO can, and prehaps should be, optimistic, but every Board member has a legal duty not to mislead the market or shareholders. Every board member has a duty to give a realistic view of the risks. In my serious, considered view, Tim has mislead shareholders and the market. In doing so, shareholders including myself, have invested in Alizyme under false assumptions that were given by Tim. That is inexcusable behaviour by any CEO. All the time Tim was providing the market with (what has turned out to be) vastly over optimistic forecasts, he has continued to draw an excessive salary/bonus. That makes shareholder's pain even more difficult to bear. Of course the rest of the Board are equally culpable, as:- - they should have stepped in much earlier and got rid of Tim - they never lifted a finger at the last AGM, or after, to correct Tim's cetilistat guarantee. Tim may have made his million or so, but IMHO he is now unemployable (certainly at Board level). What a legacy to a career. | mad mike
16/7/2009 14:06 | pricious - 16 Jul'09 - 13:51 - 23966 of 23967 Someone is determined to buy azm whatever Can you please substantiate that remark. Thanks. | silverbackalpha
16/7/2009 13:53 | Hang on guys - still relatively speaking small investment - however let's hope this maybe the first of leaked purchases as opposed to last hope gamblers!! | dunderheed |
