I would 'of' thought placing and open offer are likely scenario.
However if not - just placing.
RI far too expensive and unlikely to get off ground anyway - especially in such short time frame.

I think a placing is more likely, but this is worse for shareholders as they can't participate so can't keep the level of their holding.

Also I can imagine there will be strings attached, last in, first out deal.

Hello QAZ (Swan5)

How are you ?

It will probably be a placing, which is the quickest and cheapest option.

The other possibilities include a deal for Cetilistat rest-of-world or ATL104, or some rearrangement of terms with existing partners.

Any of these should have a positive impact on the share price and there should be further big upside when Cetilistat Phase 3 reports next year and in the lead-up.

Fund raising costs are mre than 10% on lower amounts.

You almost did it, bar the last paragraph a perfect response;-)

PS The average cost of a fundraising is 10% of the amount raised, so people need to include that in their projections.

VOW: I know from speaking with A Good-man, he said he would only be raising what was required.

He did not state a figure nor how that would be achieved.

I had some back of a matchbox calculations in the region of £10m. I really want him to cut that dead wood out of the company, and have no idea what severence clauses TM has in place but I do feel he should do the honourable ting and go or save his CV and go on a no-results-no-pay structure (which i doubt he will do given his greedy record).

Fundraising is inevitable, yet you and Qaz seem to omit this from your posts, not saying you are trying to rosy the situation up or anything.

It is a fact it is going to happen, so why not debate it?

Well as per my other post on other thread - you have no idea what the CP exposure is hence why throw a figure in the air like that - with no back up whatsoever - would it not be better to just admit we have no idea at all?!

Are you joking??!
£5 million funding required for normal overheads?! You have already posted you have no idea about the exposure re CP Ph III - so why throw a figure like that out in the air?
Man!!

Dunders.

PIII is extremely expensive, so it all depends on what costs are to be met, so until the AGM no one knows.

Without any Colal input they had money to last until Q1 next year so they will need an additional 9 months cashflow to get to all of the Takeda milestones plus whatever the requirement for Colal is.

I would think £5m is the minimum, especially as it will cost them a 6 figure sum to carry out the fundraising in the first place.

Mate?? EDIT - Also of course you should have left well alone - you made a fool of yourself the two weeks previously - I assume you felt if you disappeared for this same period all would be forgotten?
I feel that what I posted was correct - now do you mind explaining the £5 million quoted on other thread - not saying it is wrong - I personally do not have a clue - but for you to suggest a figure would imply that you do have some form of analysis - do you mind sharing it?

QAZ:

I take your point, as the company needs money or its bust time.

My guess is that they will get money but with a defined exit plan.

Ie. Get the money on the conditins:

Overheads must be reduce to near zero.
Ceti RoW are put up for sale.
The milestone payments cover overheads while that happens.

i dont know how I would go about valuing that.

RP was nearly right with us being Shire. Only one letter out in fact. I know in his more arrogant moments he used to go on about one analyst who said AZM should have been strangled at birth, I'd like to hear his views now.

Still holdd these, just hoping I can use the loss against other gains if I make any...

Why do you think £5 million is required VOW?

I do not have an inkling what cash is required at this juncture (but maybe you have had some more enlightening chats with you know who?)- I am assuming the next phase testing for CP will have to be met in some way by azm - contrary to what I belive the Timiny was telling people previously imho.

If not and it is really only admin costs etc - surely £1.5 million would cover in the interim?
