Lol utter rubbish....Alba have 90% already and the remaining 10% is a formality...all costs are covered at this stage, and the drilling programme planned for later this year will be relatively cheap as the target zones are located close to the surface.....100% of the highest grade graphite in the world is an exciting prospect.....question is....will a major want in before the drilling programme or wait for results and pay top dollar thereafter.......gla holders....HH and Brockham offers transformational upside but Greenland could be massive. :-)

but they don't want 100% of an early stage licence in Greenland. Their partner has gone and Alba are stuck with all future costs. For little Alba, with no cash, to proceed the licence to the next stage is going to cost a fortune. They need to divest or farm-out asap.

Alba will soon hold 100% of the Amistoq license.......potentially this could be massive....and looks like the Greenland Authorities are very keen to promote the mineral wealth potential, and obviously must hold Alba's Amistoq graphite and gold prospect in high regard.......THE HIGHEST GRADE GRAPHITE IN THE WORLD!!!!!!! Gla ;-)

2017 Work Programme

Work programme being finalised

Likely to include some/all of: – Completion of metallurgical testing of channel samples

Optimization test work

Ground truthing of graphite bearing horizons, and potential PGE and gold areas

Drilling to investigate extent of graphite horizons and for additional metallurgical samples

Initial environmental review and development study

Gla holders, the Greenland Authorities must be very keen on fast tracking Alba's graphite and gold prospect.

Legislation amendments to ease exploration costs in Greenland
10th February 2017 BY: MEGAN VAN WYNGAARDT
CREAMER MEDIA CONTRIBUTING EDITOR ONLINE
JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Aim- and Frankfurt Stock Exchange-listed FinnAust Mining has welcomed changes to expenditure obligations for holders of minerals exploration licences in Greenland, which FinnAust said would result in cost savings for the company.

Under a newly issued addendum, the expenditure obligations for exploration licences from year 6 to year 11 will be reduced to a zero expenditure requirement for 2017.

The decision by the Greenland government was made following extensive industry consultation and direct dialogue with licence holders in Greenland. “It’s a clear demonstration of Greenland's supportive approach to its emerging minerals industry,” FinnAust said.

FinnAust, which is working to advance its Avanaa licences, under new entity Disko Exploration, believes these assets have significant resource potential, and that the more favourable licensing environment will support their ongoing assessment.

yes of course, super jumbo sized flakes wasn't it?

I was looking at the October 2015 news release on the Amsitoq project. Do Alba have a commitment to spend over £400,000 on this licence this year and next? You really have to be on the ball with stocks like this regarding future licence commitments.

"Thereafter, Alba shall have the right to increase its interest in the Project to 70 per cent by meeting the 2017/2018 commitment of DKK 4,430,320 (approximately £438,000). This shall be subject to Greenlandic Governmental approvals being obtained for Alba to acquire a majority interest in the Project, and the renewal of the existing licence (which expires on 31 December 2017) for a further five year period commencing 1 January 2018. The parties shall co-operate to ensure the satisfaction of these conditions."

Page 11.......Amistoq appears to have the highest grade graphite in the world. Gla ;-)

Graphitic carbon content varied from 20.5 to 35.4% , with an average of 28.7%

Preliminary geochemistry (from a limited dataset) suggests that grab and channel samples from historic workings at Amitsoq are high grade in comparison to worldwide graphite resources.

Angus Energy plans to bring Kimmeridge into production at Brockham oil field, UK

Angus Energy has plans to bring Kimmeridge into production at its existing Brockham production facility in the UK, after an extensive analysis of the BRX4Z sidetrack well.

The company will commence production after securing necessary approval from OGA (Oil and Gas Authority).

Brockham X4Z well was drilled to a depth of 1,391m, with the objective to analyse Portland, Corallian and Kimmeridge formations at Brockham, including an evaluation of the Kimmeridge reservoir.

The well was intended to establish whether evidence of a potential reservoir reported at Horse Hill extended further north into the Brockham Licence.

Angus Energy has revealed that the preliminary results from Brockham X4Z exhibited similar thickness of reservoir and properties to those reported at Horse Hill.

The gross thickness of Kimmeridge in Brockham X4Z is around 385m thick.

The two limestone intervals (each around 30m) tested in Horse Hill are also seen in the Brockham well. The reservoir properties appear to be similar to Horse Hill, based on electrical logging evidence.

Angus also conducted a search for natural fractures by using the Weatherford Ultra Wave Acoustic borehole imaging tool.

The tool enables the ability to see fractures in the borehole directly, thereby eradicating the need to infer them from logs.

The results confirmed natural fractures not only in the two main limestones intervals previously tested at Horse Hill, but also in abundant natural fractures in sections of interbedded shales and limestones between and below the two main limestones.

Angus procured samples during the drilling campaign for geochemical analysis.

In line with Angus’s measured approach to field development, operations are underway to install new production facilities for the well and to prepare for the production as soon as the necessary OGA approval has been received

Angus Energy's Brockham well could 'change the face of the onshore industry'
03 Mar 2017

Optiva Securities analyst Barney Gray gives his take on the significance of latest drill results at Brockham.

In a statement, Angus said they're very similar and in some respects superior to those of the so-called Gatwick Gusher.

Brockham drill results 'outstanding and extraordinary' says David Lenigas
15:32 03 Mar 2017

David Lenigas, oil and gas commentator and executive chairman of Doriemus Energy plc (LON:DOR) talks over the positive update from Angus today on its Brockham re-entry oil well in Surrey.
The former chairman of UKOG said: "When the Horse Hill flowed at a record flow rate for an onshore well in the UK, it shut quite a few people up," he said, adding it wasn't perhaps the 'Dorking Dribler' but in fact the 'Gatwick gusher'.

Lol that's exactly what frigid said last year when Alba's share price was at 0.15p and tried his hardest and continued to undermine as the share price climbed all the way to 0.4p plus.....plenty made lots of profit contrary to his opinion, and history will will no doubt repeat itself with so much good news delivered and expected as Alba makes progress on every front.....a stellar 2017 ahead with HH flowtests, Brockham production tests and the drilling of Greenland graphite and gold.......gla holders. ..plenty more profit beckons. :-)

You can tell the MMs don't want to hold the shares. Any selling and they quickly shift the bid price down. I know what that is telling me.

Remember Alba only have 5% of Brockham and it currently contributes about 5 boepd.

Alba's big problem is they are trying to be Rio Tinto. They need to ditch Greenland for a start which is just a black hole. It's going to cost a fortune to seriously progress it.

Lol no near term cash calls for Alba at the moment, but nothing wrong with a fund raise for the development of assets to increase shareholder value, and no doubt a newly fully funded Alba will see a flood of new investors....that will push the share price up to new highs, the exact response to Alba's September placing with the share price doubling the following month. .....Bring it on!!! Gla holders.....Greenland graphite and gold update next. :-)

Agus Energy's Brockham well looks like "carbon copy" of Horse Hill, says Proactive's Lyall

09:24 03 Mar 2017

Proactive Investors editor Ian Lyall talks us through the latest update from explorer Angus Energy Plc (LON:ANGS), which he said explained a lot more about its Brockham field in Surrey.

"It looks like a carbon copy of the Horse Hill well. You will remember Horse Hill came on at 1500 barrels a day which is unprecedented for a UK onshore well," he told Andrew Scott

A Stellar year ahead for Alba, and all set to be the star share of the year from their bargain low share price and lowly £6m market cap, on confirmation of commercial recoverable volumes on good flow test data from HH and Brockham.......Greenland could be bigger again by the time drill results are in that are planned for later this year.......Gla holders.....the a re-rate or two beckons as progress is made towards HH flowtests and Brockham's production tests, given the multi-bag potential on all fronts. On and Up......;-)

It's all about the Kimmeridge....and Alba own 14.75% of the sweet spot........the oil saturated shales freely flow from the limestones but they also think that the shales also supply the oil to the Portland Sandstone.....this means that there is a very high chance when oil is extracted via the naturally fractured limestones, there will be no depletion as the oil will be replaced by the oil under immense pressure within the shale........essentially a great big sponge with three perforated layers......Gl Exciting times.....A multi-bag in the making!!! ;-)

The gross thickness of Kimmeridge in Brockham X4Z is some 385m thick. The two limestone intervals (each around 30m) tested in Horse Hill are also seen in the Brockham well. The reservoir properties appear to be very similar to Horse Hill, based on electrical logging evidence.

" it is most likely that the oil in the Portland Sandstone in Brockham is sourced from the Kimmeridge, the evidence backs a similar oil content to Horse Hill.

Therefore, based on the evidence so far, Angus has confidence that the well will be similar to Horse Hill and perhaps given that the reservoir is potentially much thicker in zones not previously tested the results could be even better. These results achieve everything short of production to prove the potential from this zone."

Great news from Brockham and suggests a stellar year ahead with permit approval for HH ewt's expected around the same time as Brockham's completion plans........confirmation of recoverable commercial volumes from the flowtests will make Alba's 14.75% combined interest very attractive........Gla holders.....and more news from Greenland on their gold targets and extent, size and depth of the graphite zones expected soon......undoubted transformational upside potential on the flow of good news and positive data. On and Up!!! ;-)))
