I've cancelled my banking profit price of 475 and sold all my shares in the market on this good run for almost a 34% profit on my holding. May buy back in if it pulls back enough.

Correct, a few grand in a few days is not to be sniffed at, I do that myself from time to time, especially when a company has made a major announcement like interim or final results, as that is when most company's have their 15 minutes in the sun.

It may well go higher in time but personally I believe they will take a breather somewhere around here, as it could be getting a bit ahead of its self.

I wish I could do the same with all shares, it's usually everyone else nicking my money but I have learned lessons over the years and if you can grab a couple of grand in 3 days then it's not to be sniffed at however unexpected.

I do believe these shares will go much higher and I have nothing but admiration, at this point in time, for the management. When they say something you can usually bet it will happen, with interest. They are not afraid to let shareholders know what is happening or to make forward forecasts.

Again in their report the subject of aquisitions were mentioned, as last year, and it probably won't be long before some announcement is made along those lines.

I sold some shares the other day solely for the reason that after waiting almost 5months for some relevant news they put out a trading statement simply saying 'Trading was satisfactory' it must have been awfully hard work putting that together.

Also don't forget the Beijing olympics 2008. Nothing has been mentioned so far but I wouldn't mind betting they already have a foot in the door. These major sporting events are becoming ever more frequent be it athletics, football, ice skating etc. and this type of revenue is never built in to the price so to speak.

For your sake I hope the shares continue to rise but, purely from a personal viewpoint I shall be looking for a dip.

If there is such a thing as a lucky share then this surely is mine.

Blimey Peaeff, you rat! You came straight in then straight out pinching my and Reeshar's money like a shrewd pickpocket operator without even telling us, you didn't even get to smell the aroma of your crispy new share certificates
:-))). Just kidding of course.

Well done mate for getting your timing right this time for a quick turnover, it actually looks like it could pause for breath, as I bought them at 368.50, I think I'll play it safe, I've set a stop loss in case it drops, to bank profits at 475p for a potential 29% profit.

I agree about their profitability. I was thinking of the market in general getting the jitters rather than me and these 2 shares. I sat fairly calmly on the sidelines partly because my circumstances don't allow me to move in and out quickly or frequently and partly because I'm generally a long term investor.

AGK, RPS to name but two. What is there to get jittery about with those two. They have brought you nothing but profits.

Keep taking the tablets and relax a bit.

Long term hold for me and looking to buy a few on any significant dip.
I must say I hope the market cools down a bit. Nice to see shares going up but I'd prefer a steady rise (2% per month) otherwise we'll get another dose of the jitters as soon as there's a bit of bad news.

I took the profits, will buy back again when the dust settles, if it does. I was very lucky to have got back in at 409p on Monday but thank goodness I did. I have been so lucky over the years with AGK and the more I get to know them the luckier I get. LOL

Here is just an extract from the Chairmans report.

Outlook for 2007

Aggreko is a business in which the flow of events can have a powerful influence
on short-term performance, so it is always difficult at this early stage to
predict the year's performance. However, trading in the first few weeks has been strong, and the integration of GE Energy Rentals is running ahead of plan.
Overall, if current trends continue, we anticipate a strong first half. For the
year as a whole we expect to achieve a material increase in profits compared to
2006, and to be ahead of current market expectations.

He cant say a lot better than that eh! Have you all topped up.

Hi all

Bought in about 10am this morning at 409.34 Count myself very lucky to get back in this low. I just hope that I hit the bottom and this so called 'correction' is just about done.

They can set sail for 460p now.

ADVFN chart shows about 350 5 years ago so must have been before that. Times are different now. I'll hang in there and see what comes out of the results which I believe are due in about 2 weeks.

AGK has been here before after demerger from Salvesen. £5.20 was tops if I remember correctly

I can name 2 or 3 that I've exited too soon. I am finding that timing is more difficult that picking good stocks.
