Not spouting how everyone should invest in US , err , "growth" stocks , this time.
Changing the habit of a lifetime?

Perhaps that has something to do with a lot of them being down by 60% this year.....
and no doubt no dividend payable as well.

@ade…income investors in U.K. shares?? What a load of utter capital destructive shxt U.K. dividend stocks are the pits, they’ve all halved in ten years. Buy for a 7 pc yield and lose half your capital.

Got very lucky bought tiny AMT 5000 quid as a starter 1920

More funds available thank goodness but totally unpredictable markets

On the lookout for more bargains over coming days Cognizant of leaving sufficient funds on the side if all goes pear shaped

It's made some longer term holders very rich, even at today's price a 600%
return over 18 years, which takes no account of dividends, let alone dividend reinvestment.

reduced private motorist mileage (?) because of spiralling petrol costs mean reduced claims. If so offsetting claims costs to an extent.
