23/1/2009 13:58 | she-ra, I'm not sure what you mean? As I see it, any negativity is linked to the electronics business, not the part supply business. Certainly within Servicesource we are still hitting target, and as the various companies integrate cost efficiences will emerge, buying power will increase, and relationships with customers will strengthen - but it will take time. What I can say is that the plan is to turn the individual sites into "centres of excellence" so for example the Nottingham site will become the centre of excellence for Enterprise/mid-range equipment and expertise, to showcase our capability to the likes of Sun, HP and IBM, this is a market that has huge potential. | marketdevil
16/1/2009 08:55 | Hi Targatarga - business is ticking over nicely, but I think it will take off once the restructuring takes place, theres a lot of activity taking place at board level at the moment. If half of the deals come off that are being talked about, then we should be substantially increasing revenue and profit within the next 12 months. I think it'll be mid-March before theres anything significant to report. I'll keep you updated if I hear anything in the meantime... | marketdevil
14/1/2009 12:26 | Hello, As an employee of the newly acquired SSE, I personally think this is a good move. SSE were the main competitor to CPI and EAF (two of the companies that are part of ACAL), one of the main reasons ACAL bought us out is for the strong management team (which forms the bulk of the new exec team of Acal Supply Chain Ltd). There is a lot of potential for growth, particularly as companies cut back on new IT spend, they will look more and more to the 2nd user/grey market to cut costs, which is the ideal territory for the newly expanded group. We are also moving into the high-end mid-range/Enterprise market, and are working on several big contracts in this area. | marketdevil

22/12/2008 20:11 | Acal Chairman, Richard Moon's £50k's worth £30k for him and another £20k for a Company where he is a Director.By my calculation Net Working Capital is 113p a share so with the share price of 90p,a bargain ratio of 1.25. Very thinly traded. regards | rainmaker
