06/6/2024 14:30 | How does the quality of the ASLI portfolio compare to EBOX? - I think EBOX assets may be of higher quality on a quick look - just wonder if this view is valid?. | essentialinvestor
06/6/2024 12:30 | Also started a position here although i not sure it will get into anything meaningful but a 18-20% return on anything is better than none. | raj k
06/6/2024 08:14 | XD today for 1.21. Paid 5/7 | cwa1
05/6/2024 23:14 | Reading AGT's interim report, out today, I see it held a 5.8% stake as at 31/03/24. | rambutan2
05/6/2024 17:16 | Personally I won't discount the NAV by more than 2% for two reasons: # We are constantly seeing sales being completed at a premium to valuations. Valuers are over-discounting and not yet catching up with an already improving Market # Income from rentals will continue to accrue during the wind-down process | skyship
05/6/2024 17:07 | Seems reasonable. Euro exposure too, but that could go either way. Interest in EBOX ought to underpin ASLI (albeit no actual bid for EBOX yet). | spectoacc
05/6/2024 16:53 | I would prudently cut at least 5% off NAV which would give about 75p - this give a roughly 20% return on current share price. I'm simplistically assuming the income element will be offset by the costs of winding up so not including this in the returns. | riverman77
05/6/2024 16:39 | Tilts - Excellent; that's a vote of confidence for sure. Frankly I'm surprised they're still below 63p. 62.6p to, say, 77p provides 23% upside, perhaps in just 15months. | skyship
05/6/2024 16:28 | @SKYSHIP Joined you with a half unit | tiltonboy
05/6/2024 16:21 | I have built a sizable position recently. One to tuck away for a while. | mr euro
03/6/2024 21:33 | It'll help but we are on managed wind down now so that'll be what determines returns | williamcooper104
03/6/2024 21:25 | ebox may be bid for, any read across here? | c3479z
29/5/2024 09:17 | Sterling NAV taking a hit due to portfolio reduction and adverse exchange rates. Sound more confident going forwards though. Troels Andersen, Lead Fund Manager, abrdn, commented: "Market expectation is mounting that the ECB will start cutting interest rates at its next monetary policy meeting in June, and despite a small valuation decrease this last quarter, economic indicators are more positive for the second half of this year. With the improving backdrop, and key long-term structural drivers underpinning the logistics sector's rental and capital growth prospects, we expect to see increasing investment activity for this high conviction asset class. In the near-term, we are focused on letting up the remaining vacant space in Madrid and leveraging our local expertise to deliver indexation-driven rental uplifts, which reflect the strength of sub markets where the portfolio is located." | hugepants
29/5/2024 08:00 | Trading update and revised NAV for end March published today. "NAV per Ordinary share decreased by 1.7% to 91.8c (GBp - 78.5p) (31 December 2023: 93.4c (GBp - 81.2p))" | llef
28/5/2024 16:46 | decent volume today. | toffeeman
24/5/2024 15:25 | wc104 - agreed; that is their most likely route for redemption payments. | skyship
24/5/2024 13:25 | sorry duplicated | raj k
24/5/2024 10:15 | It'll be issuing B shares then buying them back (most likely) That gets treated at capital gains If it's divi then horrible as if you are paying tax you pay tax on return of your money | williamcooper104
24/5/2024 07:42 | "as im limited to only £2880 in my SIPP (due to all my income coming from non relevant property income)" ??? Are you limited because your cash balance is down to just £2880? There is no other reason for any limit in a SIPP. | skyship
24/5/2024 07:05 | i am having a look at ASLI. If the managed wind down goes ahead and the investment is made in a GIA will the distributions from the sale of assets be paid as special dividends (i presume then taxed as normal dividend income) or will they use some other scheme and gainstaxed as CGT and/or income tax rates. It looks attractive to me but just thinking if its worth as im limited to only £2880 in my SIPP (due to all my income coming from non relevant property income) and i have maxed my ISA etc. | raj k
23/5/2024 16:41 | I bought a few CREI, API and SHED today, will have a look at this tomorrow. AGR and PHP selling off - new government uncertainty, perhaps. However Assura has been mardedly weak of late. * And a small amount of BBOX. | essentialinvestor
23/5/2024 15:56 | Simon, Sky would have a better insight in to that - or perhaps someone else could answer. The GE campaign may throw up some sector opportunities, as mentioned elsewhere. | essentialinvestor
23/5/2024 15:45 | Hi EI, Isn't this one going to be over more quickly? How long do you expect API to take? | simon gordon |
