28/11/2019 09:34 | scooper, depends on your entry point, I will monitor the price action over the coming weeks to see if 2190 support holds firm again. Used funds to add more (STX) and a spec buy on (IMM) after this morning’s interesting news. | ny boy
28/11/2019 09:25 | Just need to treat this as a long term opportunity | scooper72
28/11/2019 09:14 | Market been like this for a while. Anything on a v high PE if the results aren't off the scale drops like a stone - even if they're excellent in their own right. | texas_caddy
28/11/2019 09:12 | No rebound here. Just weird. | simon canning
27/11/2019 16:59 | Really hoping for rebound tomorrow | deanoshoes
27/11/2019 16:12 | Unbelievable! | jparmar1
27/11/2019 15:07 | EC Thanks but just luck really, although I tend not to hold for results, as they often get sold off, even if they look excellent. I will wait a few weeks to see how this one plays out and read the various broker notes due out, I just took my 20% as that was the trade I planned for. I look for good entry and exit points but with this one, some will be long term holders from the very early unknown days, so they will have done exceedingly well. GL | ny boy
27/11/2019 12:57 | Re 803 Thanks, NY Boy, and congratulations for your well-timed sell. Due to work commitments and the need to add in a the two acquisitions, the turnaround time for my model update is likely to be a bit longer than usual, this time. Assuming new broker consensus figures come through ahead of my output, I'll post them when I get them. On the price fall today, it's a shame but not a concern for me; it just puts us back to where we were a couple of weeks ago. | effortless cool
27/11/2019 10:56 | Interesting interview - ABDP mentioned in the first few minutes: | jurgenklopp
27/11/2019 09:42 | 4 ME PE RATIO FAR TO HIGH INDICATES share price TOO HIGH AT THIS STAGE OF COMPANY GROWTH Having said that it seems 4 out of 5 analysts have high target expectations Strong support at 2420p | the grumpy old men
27/11/2019 09:29 | Must admit the goodwill and intangibles are substantial and will have impact on company valuation as it proves forward As long a free cash flows in nicely then it should not be too much of a head wind for the sp | the grumpy old men
27/11/2019 09:20 | ROCE is well down, always a concern for acquisitive businesses. It's easy to increase profit by acquisition, not so easy to do so without eroding ROCE. "Our capital-efficient business and high margins enable generation of strong ROCE (defined as adjusted operating profit as a percentage of capital employed). However, in the years in which we acquire businesses or new properties, our capital base grows disproportionately with profit therefore the ratio will be impacted. This accounted for the decrease in ROCE in the year from 40.4% in 2018 to 18.7% in 2019." Admin costs increased by 84% Vs revenue growth of 58% (FROM 24 TO 28% of revenue). Opening overseas offices/operations is expensive and no doubt contributing. Also multiple acquisitions incur costs but it takes time to get integration savings. ABDP is a great success story and I don't think either of these issues is a red flag, but they need watching and maybe giving the market pause for thought. | hydrogen economy
27/11/2019 09:14 | More likely than Liverpool winning the PL 😆 Effortless Cool, you are the expert here, look forward to your summary I will have another go here if market let’s me for another 20%+ return Meanwhile accumulating (FOXT), no debt an attraction. | ny boy
27/11/2019 09:10 | A2S is spot on. This is a quality company that has rewarded me over the last 2/3 years and will, hopefully, continue to do so for the forseeable future. Already my largest holding I could not resist topping up at £26.49 after the markdown this morning. To paraphrase Warren Buffett : diversification is for wimps. Do your research, find good companies and go big. At least £35 by easter !! :o) | jurgenklopp
27/11/2019 08:54 | ABDP is and always has been a long term investment. The day traders want big swings. Resist the urges. A year ago ABDP was trading around 1300. Relax. The numbers are good and the note of caution at the end of the statement is prudent with global political and economic instability. My last addition was at 2100 and has become my largest holding. DYOR. Good luck. A2S | albie two shoes
27/11/2019 08:42 | What happened I might buy more tomorrow | red5
27/11/2019 08:32 | Price was this level before the news. And ASOS fly up with losses. Ffs | simon canning
27/11/2019 08:15 | Aye, I sold yesterday but I might back back if we retest 2200/2250 area. | ny boy
27/11/2019 08:11 | Buy on rumour, sell on news! | johndoe23
27/11/2019 07:43 | Fire the Cannons ! The next set of results will surely look even more spectacular with the effect of the acquisitions included | nchanning
27/11/2019 07:29 | V.Solid nos Not that generous with divi Something to keep in one’s mind going forward Despite global macro-economic uncertainty and challenges facing the automotive sector Sp should rise to 3150/3250 area before hitting resistance. How much of the news is priced in now, will be interesting to see how markets react GL in if you are still holding, I will keep on monitor watch for another pull back entry opportunity | ny boy |
