18/6/2019 13:17 | never mind all that any idea why the pullback for a number of days after the rises | ali47fish
12/6/2019 17:53 | Iweb (Halifax) 16.9% Share Centre 16.2% Alliance Trust 14.1% The process was, by far, easiest with Iweb - so I'd expected the % to be the lowest. I suspect their nominee is the same as other Halifax Share Dealing services (and, maybe, Lloyds), which might explain the higher allocation. Anyway, all speculation! In the past, I've done exceptionally well with an Investment Trust that was being would up via a series of tenders at NAV, whilst the shares traded at a substantial discount. Tender 100%, get a higher than entitled acceptance, re-buy in the market at the significant discount. Repeat, until the discount shrank / liquidity dried up. | garbetklb
12/6/2019 16:55 | You both did well - I got 9.5% of my excess application. | effortless cool
12/6/2019 16:34 | In Barc the excess ratio was 21% . | t 34
12/6/2019 16:22 | EC I got my allocation including the excess shares on Monday with HL. Applied for a lot of excess shares and got about 19% of what I applied for. | alter ego
12/6/2019 13:33 | Finally, AJ Bell have given me my allocation. 1,032 shares. Surprised this hasn't fallen more, given the temptation to take an instant profit. | effortless cool
10/6/2019 12:40 | Yes Steptoes looks like they have set a new ath here. Peeps getting blasé RM | rampmeister
10/6/2019 12:18 | meantime whilst we digress on platform fees, peoples retirement funds are being transformed #ABDP | steptoes yard
10/6/2019 09:14 | Melody - thanks - never knew that, interesting. I use XO alongside II (and IG for spread), they're alright but sometimes they offer me crazy prices to buy/sell, they seem to be a little more illiquid for some reason. I counteract this by having more than one broker account so this still works ok. | alphabeta4
09/6/2019 08:41 | Alphabet - if its the same as other open offers, your excess % will depend on the take up within your investment platform. So if nobody on your platform applied, you would likely get your full allocation; if everyone applies, the scale down would be greater. Which works against people on platforms with more active investors. | melody9999
08/6/2019 13:32 | I use IWeb and am pretty happy with them. Pretty much everything is online & simple. One negative is that there is no option for telephone dealing - for example, if you're trying to trade in something v illiquid & can't get an online quote. I never use stop losses etc, so don't know if / how good these are. I also use Share Centre, who are a bit more expensive than IWeb - trades are £7.50 or £5.25 (online only) if you hold a v small no of Share plc shares (? 500). Phone deals are also £7.50. There is a monthly fee - not huge. I find their service excellent. I have a SIPP with AJ Bell / Youinvest. I'm thinking of moving it - online dealing is £10 and telephone dealing a fair bit more (?£30). As I hold a lot of illiquid AIM shares, this is an issue. Please check - I may be out of date! I'd be v interested in any feedback re X-O | garbetklb
08/6/2019 10:50 | Barc have allocated them . | t 34
08/6/2019 09:38 | AJ bell they are shown as a dummy trade, I called them they said that they will be available to trade in due course, dont remember the exact date. | nattagoza
07/6/2019 16:22 | Thanks everyone. Pleased to know I wasn't going mad. Now showing, on the excess only got 14 of the 150 I asked for. Bit surprised as was expecting c1:6.65 given the oversubscribed placing. Perhaps the 1:6.65 was across the open offer and excess with the open offer taking priority? | alphabeta4
07/6/2019 15:09 | Yes...because it needs propping up doesn't it | steptoes yard
07/6/2019 15:08 | Let's hope the unblocked excess of cash will be invested in abdp and prop up the share price . | t 34
07/6/2019 14:44 | I've been allocated mine by Share Centre - they are excellent. Basic allocation plus 16.2% of the additional ones I applied for. The excess funds will, however take a while to work their way back from the Registrar...... | garbetklb
07/6/2019 14:39 | I'm on IG and have my allocated 7 - they are showing as non tradeable at the moment. I phoned IG and they said 7th June was the pay date - I'd ensured there was enough floading cash to pay for them and the case has now been deducted. I am expecting to see these shares get added to my existing holding (they are showing as a separate line at the moment) | smokeyrose
07/6/2019 13:30 | Nothing on HL or Selftrade | glaws2
07/6/2019 13:07 | AJ Bell nothing yet | effortless cool
07/6/2019 13:04 | Barclays nothing . | t 34 |
