I'm on IG and have my allocated 7 - they are showing as non tradeable at the moment. I phoned IG and they said 7th June was the pay date - I'd ensured there was enough floading cash to pay for them and the case has now been deducted. I am expecting to see these shares get added to my existing holding (they are showing as a separate line at the moment)

Can anyone see their open offer shares yet on their platform? Still can't see how many got on this and the excess.

I've been holding free shares for a while now, having first bought here in the 500's and then clawed back my original investment. I bought again in the 1200's and have just added more this morning to go with my extra shares in the placing. Buys seem to showing as sells today.

Well done EC. I held lower down but sold. Then got lucky with my timing with e re-entry at 1660p...and I commented then that I had decided to 'pay up'! Its been one way traffic since then.

This rise seems like somethings happening in the background. That MG fella on twitter might be hinting at a acquisition in the pipeline

or he could be talking out of his backside! tiume will tell

Lets hope we dont get too much of a retrace when we do get it

I have an account with fidelity and bought 40 of these shares a few months ago (wish I'd bought more, but easy to say now eh!)

I got the email about the placing saying:


"Corporate action : Open Offer Issue Entitlements
AB Dynamics plc has announced a proposed Placing and Open Offer to raise estimated gross proceeds of £50.1 million. The proposals are subject to shareholder approval at a General Meeting due to be held on 6 June 2019.
Shareholders will receive 1 open offer entitlement share for every 86.5021363 ordinary shares held on 17 May 2019. The issue price will be £22 per share. You will be able to find out more information about the event in the circular."


As I only have 40 shares, will I be able to buy roughly half a share in the placing? And how would I actually to about it? They don't say in the email.

Does the Open Offer apply to holders at end of the trading day 17th May or at the start of the day?

Yes you get 11 shares per 1000; you can apply for any number in the excess although in reality you won't get many

Am I right in thinking if you have say 1000 shares you get 11 shares and an excess entitlement up to 11?

Looks like I got my profit at the right time.Placing at a reduced price, to fund acquisitions.Expect price to settle around 2350 and then slowly rise again once the add one come in.
