The July result update should be the day Ocado confirms details of US listing and splitting itself. By splitting retail unit it could allow shareholders to make a quick return if a bidder makes an offer?
One thing should be clear to the Board, Ocado cannot exist in its current form or listing.

How long does it take for the Board to make decisions - if its bonus ' weeks yet listing, splitting itself up or sacking under performing director(s) months or years?

Ocado Group Plc grew faster than Britain's major supermarkets as its UK grocery division showed signs of recovery. Sales at the British online grocer rose 12.5% in the 12 weeks to April 14 from a year ago, ahead of the total online market growth of 6.8%, according to data published by research firm Kantar on Tuesday.23 Apr 2024


This is good.news for Ocado.

Grocery delivery app Getir has announced its exit from the UK, as well as Germany, the Netherlands and the US. The Turkish business said in a statement that it generates just 7% of its revenue from the markets it is exiting and plans to instead focus all of its financial resources on its operation in Türkiye.1 May 2024

Having Paterson's appointment could mean he is earmarked to become next Chairman of Ocado?
Regardless Mr Paterson needs to sort out the missed timeliness on cfcs, partnership deals, profitability and the perception of overpaid directors.

The CEO needs to be replaced, after two decades it's time to say shareholders need a closer that delivers profits as opposed to an empire building one who delivers losses.

In my opinion it is time to sack the CEO for a low share price and for signing exclusivity deals that allow the Partner to stop the rollout without financial recompense to Ocado.

If CEO is awarded shares for a share price north of £29?, surely the corollary is if share price falls below £4 or £3 the share scheme should produce a negative which is then applied to subsequent schemes?

No more to one-sided schemes. Mess up and its a negative and it stays till it is cancelled out.

The CEO isn't delivering Tesco or M& S returns so why the benchmark? I wonder how minimum hourly rate employee who delivers for Ocado is worth is worth a fraction compared to CEO- who in turn has under delivered on cfc rollout, robotic orders and new partnerships?

In my opinion the CEO isn't another Elon Musk or Tim Cook or Michael O'Lesry. Ocado needs a closer not a rainbow man who keeps promising a pot of gold tomorrow. Time to sack those who have had time and money but have under delivered.

Ocado needs to turn things around or follow Darktrace's example and find a buyer to acquire Ocado. The only return London stock exchange offers for Ocado,is shorting rather than investing in the business Time for Ocado to look after its shareholders.

The Board have opted to allow HSBC analyst and some websites to inform shareholders about Kroger cfc/spoke update. I wonder if the Ocado Board should have issued a rns to London stock exchange?
Imo it is time for CEO to take the can for the Kroger miss.
