I note Telegraph wrote about Ocado listing in USA and possibly becoming a tech powerhouse.

It's time for Ocado to move its main listing to US and for a new CEO to take the company forward.

Imo the CEO isn't worth £15m based upon: missed CFC rollout, only one robotic order, retail unit under performing according to M&S.

Very strange markets. Today Asos where everything was down, where competition from China and everywhere is biting like dog eat dog and where people do not spend as they wish, rose 36p+ ! On here, where OCDO has flagged up eveything positive and growing quarter after quarter, one of the pioneer of on-line food retailing, where people have to spend regardless, is almost breakeven. Strange markets indeed.

Morningstar has a fair value of 920p per share for OCDO and this was in January, before this latest update

Best place to be as the economy and the weather improve towards summer. Football and Olympic Games in summer will turn things around too. In all cases the best retail place to be in is food as clothes are a bit streched by many factors: Chinese competition and available cash to spend while food is a must at anytime and under any economic condition.

For instance I checked the price of European beers and found a good variety and even cheaper than in many supermarkets.

They can even deliver it chilled to your door.

So as the weather improves, football and Olympic Games start, OCDO will do far better than many pubs. And this is only one segment of its products.

Has the CEO created 1000%+ increase in asset value for shareholders? Where is the drop in pay for the fall in share price or the sack for missing targets?
Imo the CEO should go, he appears to be making too many mistakes.

Excellent update for the biggest online food retailer in the world. Everything steadily growing at all fronts. This will definitely become a takeover target very soon.

Ocado need to pull its senior directors pay packages - if a director under performs then its a cut in the discretionary side and if necessary the sack.
Imo the CEO has to take responsibility for a catalogue of misses and resign with immediate effect. I think if the CEO remains in post it shows shareholders come last in the value chain.

Ocado Retail report tomorrow and with M&S reportedly saying it will take 3 yes to turn the business around, is it timeto let M&S to run the unit?

Ocado is more tech than a retailer so M&S should, imho, run Ocado Retail?

Once upon a time between 2016 and 2017, shorts reached 20%+.
Then, out of the blue, with positive news, they dropped sharply to 2 - 2.5% with many losing £millions, arms and legs. History always repeats itself...

I think the IT Outages that occurred recently at both, TESCO's and Sainbury's are a great lesson to learn from. OCDO has now fully migrated its main business systems into Oracle Cloud.
IMO it will definitely expand quickly into other on-line distribution businesses such as auto parts, medicines/pharmas etc as it has now the most modern platform for on-line shopping, backed by its AI fulfillment centres.
Today you can buy almost anything at Ocado website, from food to pets to clothes. Basically an Amazon Replica.

Cheap AI play, yanks will be eyeing this one up, this year. It’s been a sluggish treading water for uk equities over the past few years but some overseas interest is returning.
