29/2/2024 08:36 | disappointing reaction, but then again, there are no investors in the UK. | dealy
29/2/2024 08:09 | This is a long term play to forget about for a few years. As I said before, Amazon started with only selling books. On here one could imagine various sections such as "Ocado Retail" for food and clothes, "Ocado Healtcare" for pharmas, "Ocado Components" for electronics and car parts etc. etc., all powered by its main central distribution brain: Ocado Robotics. | fuji99

29/2/2024 07:37 | I’ll wait for PCE numbers over in the US at 13.30, strong nos markets, will have a big sell off, weak nos, markets will rally | ny boy
29/2/2024 07:36 | Ocado can benefit hugely from AI and automation. None of this is currently priced in. Also a takeover target | dealy
29/2/2024 07:32 | Decent update | babbler
28/2/2024 16:12 | fuji99. There are competitor products out there but I agree about the opportunities. OCDO announced last year that they were selling automated fulfilment technology to pharmaceutical wholesaler McKesson in Canada. Many car parts may be to heavy for Ocados current product range. The M&S joint venture, Ocado UK retail, has underperformed and the final installment from M&S is up for renegotiation. M&S should be a buyer for the other 50% of Ocado UK at some point. I think M&S and OCDO would fall on the news of a sale but both would benefit from the sale. Just watching Ocado at the moment. | darrin1471
28/2/2024 15:30 | even you might be heartbroken when hearing this speech by a widow . hxxps://www.msn.com/ | arja
28/2/2024 15:30 | IMO if OCDO expands its automation to other industries such as car parts and pharmaceuticals, its robotic arm will become the brain for any type of distribution. Amazon stated selling only books, years ago ... | fuji99
28/2/2024 15:13 | fuji99 , I did not realise it was a leap year this year :) . Chart now suggests support for OCDO at about 450 level but a bit academic if results out tomorrow . Bad day in markets today with US indices falling | arja
28/2/2024 15:10 | Double bottom at around 470 and in October? Not sure because equity markets are starting to roll over, expecting a 15-20% correction over the coming months. So will just keep a watching brief | ny boy
28/2/2024 12:38 | There is no leak as we almost know the results as flagged up lately. We may even get some news on new agreements with other retailers. The only excuse to push the share price down is the uncertainty on whether M & S will make a payment to OCDO. | fuji99
28/2/2024 11:55 | The drop here before results is astounding. Similar companies in the US are booming. Has there been a leak ? | dealy
26/2/2024 13:59 | Time for the Board to look at the share price and the need for additional capital. Is the only option is for Ocado to put itself up for sale? How many City institutional investors are under water with past capital raising by Ocado? | stutes
26/2/2024 10:09 | Any miss should be automatically taken off the bonus pool/options. Any muss is down to management and they should be held to account. They are paid to deliver and if they fall short cannot expect others to fund it. | stutes
20/2/2024 08:59 | Ocado to offer ‘fine dining’ ready meals for cats and dogs. Ocado-backed vertical farm opens up third site | fuji99
19/2/2024 08:48 | The real precursor for strong growth is its expansion to other sectors outside food. With only a few partners in Europe and the US, it is already making £2.5 billion. OCDO could grow exponentially if it enters other sectors for distribution such as pharmas, car parts, clothes etc. Its AI platform for efficiency and speed is unique. From Goldman on non-food potential: this is very interesting if OCDO can fully expand to other industries as it now starts doing: "This comes after Ocado announced its first non-food automated distribution contract deal with pharmacy firm McKesson Canada in November. “If Ocado is able to deliver this [...] without significant delay, cost overruns, or integration obstacles, we believe it is unlikely that McKesson will eventually only order one facility,” the bank said in a note. “Instead, it is likely to automate further parts of the fulfilment network.” Deals to distribute on behalf of fashion retailers and automotive parts suppliers also present opportunities for Ocado, according to Goldman, with these likely to require less capital commitment than grocery agreements, regardless of being worth less." | fuji99
16/2/2024 14:01 | The update was excellent. I am a buyer for the results on 29 Feb. | fuji99
