Interesting article about Darktrace being bought out. British tech company undervalued by the market being bought by US private equity company for £4.2 billion.

I thought it was cool that Sumit mentioned a stock plug in so you could animate a graph of a stock price, I can see a use for that!

You could apply a rose tinted effect to illustrate it better.

Interesting how the price charged has so many decimal places just to avoid it being 6.0! Also interesting that the highest price paid today is "unknown" if its a buy or sell despite it being higher than all the buys!
What a crazy set up.

Can people tell me what features are missing and perhaps in the order of importance you would like to see implemented.

McSean I feel like whatever direction they went you wouldn’t be happy.

Option 1: They just beta test their current phase, paying people to test it and we see nothing until a much later release.

Option 2: Release it for free so anyone can have a play and the company can learn issues and fixes whilst they build the platform to accept plug in’s etc

They have chosen option 2 which means hundreds of people beta test for free. They get feedback from webinars and can show potential to people. This is not the finished version it’s the start. I get you want us to sell for pence and get out but the ones working on this project don’t want to do that, they want to build something that’s the best version of collaborating and can be used in so many industries.

Think of education, content creation is becoming so big it will be taught in schools in the near future. Imagine having 30 kids creating basic edits with the teacher logging in and helping them with their edit. Or a team of 4-5 kids working on a project that the teacher can access at any point and even put notes on for their next class. That alone has huge potential. This is where I think it will be great for so many industries, not just YouTubers.

Da Vinci now has a collab option (think it's new)

But very, very processor heavy, the CGI crowd use Da Vinci as it's free, but then they have the machines to run/cope with it

The webinar was excellent imho.

The ads look great as well.

Personal highlight was slipping IM in at a random focus session during the last 30 secs.

Only concern is that they feel a long way from monetisation. In fact, I would be surprised if there is a paid version this year and that they will go to the market based on free user numbers in late 24/early 25.

.."send you footage via a hard drive or online transfer"

yeah Nick.....we will start it today, but because transfer is so slow you might not get it until tomorrow .. usually takes 2-3 attempts ...please be patient 😂🤣😂🤣

I think they need a "Virtual Product Placement" Plug-In added early on, if they want to help the creator monetisation ..those things are getting more common from Tik Tok through to Amazon Prime and NBC Universal

'Our work is for corporate healthcare clients, creating docu-style patient stories. We would send you footage via a hard drive or online transfer depending on project size'

Yes that's so 1999

That Client could be in New York you the editor could be in London the producer in LA all collaborating with elevate. Game changer!

Investors just don't believe it.

Funnily most editors wouldn't believe its possible either for the price.
