Your tax shelter statement is incorrect. |
chris i thought dividends and capital gains is only protected within an ISA for AIM shares?
IHT, don't have to be in an ISA, however that benefit now cut in half. |
Chris
All good points. |
There are quite a number of issues on AIM that need to be sorted out if the Exchange is to fulfil the original vision and become a major technology launch pad but the LSE haven't done it in the past won't do it now. The Government might if it sees a block to UK growth making UK based companies list abroad.
Present shareholders are sheltered from UK taxes on dividends, capital gains and partially in the future IHT so they have a lot to lose when BIRD takes off if it relocates the listing abroad meanwhile.
Some may think the take off is likely to be years off but I'm coming round to the view that the past is no guide to what can happen now. Within hours if not minutes news of what elevate can do can be spread worldwide so its a question of how they make that first big step and when. The three NEDs know how and have the contacts to make it happen. So it's all down to when the BoD decide to push the green button. |
Ignore JB he/she.. has a pump on that will definitely end in tears.
Not like they have any cash no wonder why angry, seems they have not figured out margin and retail traders won't do well here.
BIRD is for Investors.
We all have BIRD well GUILD and THE CULT and myself all held cash paid for.
We believe ,and see the problem and even bettr for us...

I would like to see a placing well above 10p in September based on positive numbers. But if it ends up at say ?3m at 6p (50m shares) I've got no real problem, that's barely 10% dilution to continue the big marketing push. We should know by Xmas whether Elevate is going to go hockey stick or not. If it seems like it is then a 10% dilution will be totally forgotten. If not then we will flounder and the share price will go down the toilet. It's as simple as that. Place your bets gentlemen.
Meanwhile we have 6 months of runway to make Elevate take off. I suggest we all do our best to help publicise the product, and not rubbish our investment. |
Marketing budget shrinking by the day as being used on wages etc. Really need to get this noticed NOW, not in 6 months. Another placing at 6p? They might actually be grateful if they can manage 6p. Very sad. |
"Poker. - The payment gateway is a bought in service, not done by Blackbird."

yes..i know, but there are a lot of things to do at the User end too... Evelate has done a lot to set itself up to be able to plug-in to the 3rd party external handler ....there are also a lot of time consuming procedures you have to comply to, as well... |

Why is it over hyped it is what they said! Watch the investor presentation
Same with MultiPlayer and scaling which you dismissed
So rather than me overhyping perhaps others are under valuing what is being achieved. |
So, it won't have been fully tested yet. Any way, compared to building a video editing suite, customer accounting is a doddle. My point is that NickB always over-hypes things. |

Exactly |
Oh yes I understood that mate. And I fully agree. It just got me thinking how it would work for the likes of us PIs |
Not suggesting going private, just highlighting the multiple difficulties companies are having with AIM. |
Re payment gateway - the act of debiting money from customer is outsourced but the idea of your subscription level + usage is used to throttle what a user can do and impacts many areas of elevate.io. What you get and how much you pay for it is an important conversation with the end-user.
Some functionality would benefit from more sophisticated metering / purchasing options especially for services BB may buy-in (like speech to text). So depends what people mean by 'payment gateway'. Similar to what mobile phone users can do in terms of buying extra minutes. Needs a lot of managing in the background. The pro platform has all that built in so it's nothing new for BB. |
That is why they used an outside source! |

Why is it nonsense?
Do you not believe what they said in the presentation in how difficult it is to build a payment gateway? |
Multiplayer Regarding elevate scaling that was questioned both here and brought up on the investor presentation.
I have been learning more about the multiplayer aspect in elevate and have myself seen 25 people in action doing realtime collaboration which is stunningly powerful to see. Mind blown!
25 is a test way beyond real world demands so we are covered.
That along with the comments feature coming is revolutionary and will as far as teams are concerned change the way people work and collaborate together so much that it will be difficult to go back I reckon.
It’s also going to end up being viral as you invite more people into the workspace.
Really is a Google Docs or Figma of Video |
Still offering 50% off for life with creator plan then. Although elevate.io on phone still saying until the 11th mar |
NickB, Nonsense. |
Interesting. How do the shares get priced in a private Company? At least on AIM we can see an instant valuation. |
