26/4/2024 08:30 | Papillion is a solid poster. and he is right the chart is horrific. Anyone and his dog can see an extended downtrend - despite 12 - 18 months of people on here posting charts purporting otherwise. | bonio10000
26/4/2024 08:30 | Gets rumbled for what exactly ? Saying it will be taken out at 30 pence Now under 6 pence Seriously u need to get a grip | washingmachine
26/4/2024 08:26 | Washing machine gets rumbled and papi and termi appear in quick order. Just block them. | johnveals
26/4/2024 08:24 | S9. Sumit didn’t say it might not work totally reliably. It does in Chrome. He was referring to Safari, when he said that. | cabi1
26/4/2024 08:14 | Just as a reminder, Blackbird's website published a statement from IM on 26 March when elevate.io went on general release. The whole statement seems more meaningful to me now after watching the webinar. Part of IM's statement said: "Blackbird plc’s CEO, Ian McDonough, commented further: “This project has been in conception since 2021 when we raised money for a direct to creator product, now realised as elevate.io. It has been brought to life by the team we hired in 2022, particularly Sumit Rai, our Chief Product Officer and our world class development team. “We now have the chassis of a disruptive product that can already be used to create high quality content. Our goal is that, over time, elevate.io will come to define how content is created and stories are told individually and through collaborating in teams. This has already been seen through the success of other multiplayer platforms such as Figma and Google Docs in parallel industries. “elevate.io will continue to evolve at pace and, being architected on the public cloud, has the ability to scale globally.” My question now is how long will "evolve at pace" take to deliver a chargeable viable product to start selling. We can only guess at the possible answer. I think Sumit understandably cautiously didn't shed any light on the answer. He stressed the importance of not launching anything which might not work totally reliably. | salmon9
26/4/2024 08:13 | "The fact is that elevate.io is a money making machine with margins in the high 90%s per SBS once introductory fees drop out." Chris Where did anyone get told the gross profit margin in Elevate? what are the running costs of the Elevate system and AWS then? | pokerchips2
26/4/2024 07:49 | Any shhareholder can do the arithmetic using the Allenby Models - the second was basically the same but they increased the expected monthly revenue per user from £25 to £36. Allenby will have been guided by BIRD on such a change. Taking the first estimate to be prudent elevate.io breaks even with slightly less than 10,000 users and at 25K users they should be generating a positive cashflow of over £4M a year i.e 1p profit per share which must impact on the share price At 500K of users the model suggests cashflow per share of 20p. What would you pay for a share that was generating that and using it to pay a dividend and could be expected to grow much further? At 2M users SSBs fabled £37 share price begins to look less than a dream, especially if the average monthly income is indeed £36. The fact is that elevate.io is a money making machine with margins in the high 90%s per SBS once introductory fees drop out. Nothing depends on an idea for a product that still needs to be developed. It exists, it works, it has the BIRD Enterprise software to provide reliabilty and speed. Once the paying versions - a tier of options - are available the only variables not under BIRDs control are the speed of uptake and the numbers doing so. | chriscallen

26/4/2024 06:50 | Well I have just caught up with the webinar. Awesome. And so professionally done. If I wasn't already loaded up I would be doing so this morning. | shortsqueezer
26/4/2024 01:59 | One fact is that for most of that chart elevate.io wasn’t even a twinkle in Blackbird’s eye. As any economist will tell you, a key consideration for most models is the concept of ceteris paribus - all other things remaining equal. In the dynamic developing post-Covid creator world, there are so many moving parts that any model based on historic inputs is by definition a flawed basis to make reasoned predictions as to what will happen in the future. | hairflick
26/4/2024 00:08 | There are quite a number of facts other than the share price if you look for them imo. | jamesjmb
26/4/2024 00:03 | free stock charts from uk.advfn.com 5 year BIRD log chart. It's Strongly Bearish and has been since the start of 2022 when a "Death Cross" appeared on the chart. I was looking at an earlier thread and in Jan 2020 NickB and others posting today were talking about a £6 share price Why then is the current share price under 6p? What went wrong? Was COVID a factor? This chart is FACT. Everything else posted on this thread is opinion. Based on the current share price it looks like most investors don't share the same opinion of BIRD's prospects as NickB and the other "believers". Keynes famously said...... "when the facts change I change my opinion, what do you do, sir?". I'm looking for the facts to change before I change my opinion of BIRD's prospects. The only fact is the share price! If my chart turns Strongly Bullish then I'll have a punt on BIRD. | papillon
25/4/2024 23:47 | I would be beyond furious at 30p ! | nickb
25/4/2024 23:25 | Washingmachine You won't see me releasing my shares 30p, £6 maybe, but I would wait for a counter bid at higher levels. | hyperal
25/4/2024 23:09 | Yes he was! | nickb
25/4/2024 23:05 | You were doing so well Washingmachine. | johnveals
25/4/2024 22:54 | Absolutely zero chance of 30p bid being successful and the stock is tightly held by the directors and other key people. BTW the last 'proper fund raise' that has built elevate was at 28p | nickb
25/4/2024 22:50 | Business Figma valued by Adode at 20 billion Dec 23 Canva worth double expected Even at this stage of development BIRD has to be worth more than today Even On a risk/reward basis Personally i don’t think we will get past 100 million mkt cap without a opportunistic bid coming in at 30 pence plus If all goes to plan can UK Shareholders resist … probably not. | washingmachine
25/4/2024 22:25 | Canva pricing | nickb
25/4/2024 22:23 | In the longer term I wonder if elevate for teams could help drive sales all the way to the top level of our current Blackbird enterprise solution. | nickb |
