You would think the first couple of work overs would be their ' bankers ' to get off to a positive start. If they can over deliver the 1-3k bopd may start to look like 3-6k bopd - which starts to make this share price look very cheap.Nothing definate in this game, but this is the pick of the small caps on a risk/reward basis.

I think its important that they deliver on these workovers to show there is some technical and operational competence in moving forward.

swampydrill,

Yes, if they are able to meet their basic targets towards 1,000bopd by Q1/18, they will prosper. Unlike many other smallcap oil co's, its not a question of oil/no-oil, its a question of whether they can determine the best completion for each well.

With P2 of 76mln (33mln net to ZEN), There is obviously huge potential given the subsurface data, drilling, completion and infrastructure management has been archaic and largely outdated Soviet-era practices. In the longterm, I would like to see them do a proper 3D shoot, delineate the field and drill new wells in sweetspots. I think the possibility of wells producing 1,000bopd (or more) cannot be entirely dismissed. At £14mln cap, it looks primed for growth.

PS, Ramco estimated there was potential for 3-5bln STOIIP across the fields. 'Tip of an iceberg' comes to mind.

There certainly seems alot of potential and is re-assuring that alot of the issues are during production and not drilling, therefore there is still a secure wellbore to work with and workover. You can't always read too much into these flowrates mentioned, 1 of them said 5000 bopd on a well not tested, based only on a kick by the looks of it although it proves it initially flows.
Never realised these were ex Ramco, decent little company and a nice guy in charge in Steve Remp, met him while we were drilling seven heads off Ireland.

Thanks, got the CPR, very low flowrates involved, previous workovers did increase production but they only looking at a +/- 500 bbl/day production after 2 yrs

I have looked through their website, cannot find any info on production rates, objectives of the workovers as in % growth in production. I see the potential volumes but nothing in flowrates, pressure declines etc, no investor presentations at all. Is there somewhere else i can find some info

Good time to exercise options.

AC said 5days so it looks like early nextweek for news.

I'm confident they know what they are doing re. completion.
