We now live in an instant gratification society and especially where the stock market is concerned, any chance of MM have of being able to get some of the shares back they have sold cheaper they will.As far as a blockage is concerned it's the oil & gas industry it's what happens some talking on bus as if it was P&A well I just got a few more another 100k to add to a substantial holding already which I think alongside Trin & Ast will be my big winners this year, I reckon this will either be unchanged or quite possibly up by this afternoon, don't panic Capt Manwareing!

Just remember the CEO didn't have to even release this rns, he could have done so next week or so once it was completed.Overreaction, by weak holders. Great top opportunity imo. We will get an update on Chinese rig imo. What was the CEO doing in China within the last two weeks?!

Just need to wait for that well result now.All eyes on the investor call...believe the CEO will hint at positive news.Holders will be stupid to sell now, before the first well numbers.Gd hopefully get rid of the week holders and can top up

2 obstructions successfully resolved in the casing 210 mts apart.
Possibly another 2 weeks to finish ?

Will be interesting to see what a successful recompletion could produce in M-195 as part of the additional targeted 700 bopd from all workovers in this 1st year.

2 wells - M-211 1400 bopd for over 18 years and M-130 equivalent of 1780 bopd in the 1st year.


"Well 211 drilled on the main Muradkhanli Field demonstrates the high initial production and low decline rates of the area. Drilled in 1981 it initially produced over 2,000 bopd and after 18 years in 1999 was producing over 1,400 bopd before production stopped quickly and dropped to sub 50 bopd, probably due to a well collapse. It still produces a few barrels today and is a potential recompletion or side-track opportunity."

"Well 130 drilled at Muradkhanli Field is a good example. Drilled in 1985 (15 years after first production), initial production was a modest c.100bopd, however within 24 hours production increased to 10,000 bopd as an uncontrollable gusher. Local farmers quickly built a sump and the well returned to normal production 25 days later. It then failed 1 year later having produced 650,000 barrels of oil".

INTERIM UPDATE ON WORKOVER OF WELL M-195



Calgary, Alberta, March 6, 2017, Zenith Energy Ltd. ("Zenith" or the "Company"), (LSE: ZEN; TSX.V: ZEE), the international oil and gas production company, is pleased to announce that the workover of Well M-195 is progressing at the Company's Muradkhanli field in Azerbaijan.

Casing obstructions at 2,780 and 2,970 metres were successfully resolved in the last two weeks and the top of the production liner screen section was reached at 3,014 metres. Below the liner screen section, which is approximately 12 metres long (3,014-3,026 m), the well was completed open-hole for 43 metres to a total depth of 3,069 metres.

A restriction was encountered at the top of the screen section and the Company is waiting for additional equipment to be sent from Baku within the next week in order to eliminate the problem and reach the open-hole section.

Zenith is pleased with the performance of workover Team B and will provide a final update when the workover of Well M-195 is completed.

The investor call won't be about Q3 results, that should have been done on the 1st march when they were released.Imo, the CEO will answer q's on the latest well workover result and future prospects on production as another rig is added, from china.Interesting part is it's during Canadian trading hours.Could see a great rise in the run up to 3:30pm imo

I did sell some of my holding on last rise but still have 70%, so expecting it to move further up this week as news should be released.

_IF_ Monday's conference call is going to talk about the first workover, co has to RNS Monday morning, or dinner time before Canada opens. Possible the call will just be about Q3 figures!

(ZEN - GPRK(NYSE) going from strength to strength lately with continued success on Llanos 34, latest extension announced last week)

Definitely a lot of potential from the workover stock. I'd still be very happy if we get 1,000 bopd by end of Q1 next year - but that was based on only 1 workover rig, so with 2 rigs it could really bring the target much closer to perhaps end of Q3 this year and that isn't long to wait. If so the cash flow should really stack up as BMD says. Any surprise on much greater flow rates would definitely bring the programme further forward.

With the plan for the drilling of new development wells next year this could take them to a whole new level as Beaufort believe they could become a 3,000 bopd producer. While there has been issues with some wells with sand, other wells produced for many years at very high rates and certainly over 1,000 bopd. If they can get 2 - 3 of those in the right development spots then it could be truly transformational.

(TheLung no not me, I know TGG from GPK South America days before it moved onto the US market and always good interesting debate).
