I have e-mailed this thread over to the FCA - just so they can see an attempted pump and dump in action. Amazing that to date they have taken no action over this one poster who is causing mayhem and disorderly markets wherever he goes.

Logans run: actually $12m cash in the bank not £12m.

At 4p the MCap of WAFM is £15m, of which ~ half is the cash on the books.

The video presentation by Anton Mauve is interesting. 30Mt at Binga but aiming to drill a bit more to get it to 150Mt. They don't want to waste money by over-drilling though, the aim is to use this as a cash cow to fund the rest of the work. For reference, Jingal's recent purchase next door was 250Mt

Predicted opex is around $55/tonne so at world ore price of $100 they are aiming for a minimum 30% return. Aim would be to do ~ 4Mt a year, with a low capex (says that 2 year payback).

Fag packet calcs thus 4 x $30 = $120m per annum, capex of order of $200m?

For reference there are 376m WAFM shares in circulation to do the denominator of the sum.

West African Minerals Corporation (AIM: WAFM) is pleased to announce that further to the announcement on 5 February 2014 of the placing of shares to the value of approximately GBP3.7 million gross, equivalent to approximately US$6.0 million at current exchange rates, (the "First Placing") the Company has today placed a further 34,843,206 new ordinary shares ("Placing Shares").
