Good posts today, should we be nervous or confident? A lot of bad news of late, is it fully priced in, we seem to be consolidating at these levels so I'm holding on, but my confidence has been severely tested this year.

Seems to have support now lower that 130, I'd say with them pending results from trials and financial interims, itll rise hopefully, just slower than first expected..... I'm sticking for the time being

It was a nasty little stop hunt at opening. IG showed 128.27 as the low. Interesting to see what happens in the next 48 hours.

a1ord53-I never looked at VEC before the merger/takeover and when SKP announced it and the share price went up, I assumed that SKP directors knew what they were doing and it was a good thing. I see that the VEC share price had fallen from a high of nearly 200 to around 150 at the start of the year but went back up to 170+ after the takeover announcement. From then it has fallen fairly steadily to around 130 today. It looks like VEC were falling out of favour prior to the merger so I'm not sure whether the fall since then is a reflection of that or the bad news over the past few months. VEC's MD described these setbacks as very frustrating, he's not the only one who's frustrated! I can understand his desire to find a ready made company to takeover and sell VEC products given that VEC are subject to the whims and wishes of big pharma, they are in litigation with GSK and Novartis are not only delaying their marketing plans for Ultibron but are running a new trial. I just hope that the litigation gets sorted out, the Novartis trial is successful and the results later this month are good. If so, I expect that we will see a big recovery in the share price so I am continuing to hold and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Results of the study of Ultibro versus Anoro Ellipta for COPD will be available end November then the decision to go ahead in the USA will be taken.That could give us the Xmas boost we all need.After that it's the FDA decision on VR 315 versus Advair with Hikma in May 2017.Those two plus the continued growth of Flutiform numbers are the keys for the corporate strategy.Keep the faith!

failure to break resistance cause now try to break support
very dangerous for share price and will cause reevaluation of Vec
it looks like current valuation is to rich for city and analysts recommendations just nonsence imo
