Yes I do. The gold that Solgold was rumoured to have found was high grade surface gold. Meaning gold literally lying on the ground or a meter or two underneath. This meant mining costs were next to nothing. Needless to say this turned out to be a lie and Solgold subsequently plunged back down

The company will not be bought out yet.Read the RNS regarding private equity finding. In my opinion we could be on the verge of something huge here. 5p could easily be achievable. $33 billion resource and currently a £13m mcap. I wonder....

VAST can multi-bag from here but two things are required.

1. The announcement of a new nomad.

2. The announcement of a takeover.

I know many talk about a financial backer but I am very sceptical about this. VAST does not have the money to enter into a financial partnership with a serious backer. Therefore any kind of deal is likely to involve dilution. It may be dressed up as some kind of partnership but if the issuance of shares are involved then its just another death spiral finance.

The market cap of VAST is low enough for the company to be bought outright if any major player believes in and is interested in its assets.

Scary: it only takes one really good punt on a reasonable amount to make a great deal.You will make it I hope here or in something else but hopefully with good people on board who are aligned with shareholders interest ,vast will turn out very well.They are making money at least on producing mines.Prospects look great and if finance /equity stake is decent especially if it's at a premium this should multi bag in my opinion.I am glad you haven't lost hope

this time last year i got wiped out by oxus gold...got a lucky 7 bagger in AST with my last throw of the dice,now looking forward to a 2017 that could be fantastic for small cap miners..fully loaded on 20 stocks,best to spread your net widely..you only need one multibagger at this game but patience is the key and dont sell too early..

goodbloke, I do understand what you mean. Just be careful out there/here as aim is littered with failures. I was in here once a long time ago and although I only lost 5k, it is 5k I could do with now everything else I owned has gone down the pan. I've not given up trying though, perhaps more fool me.

I forgot to add that since PWhite has been wrong on most of the shares he has been negative on , he can actually be regarded as a contra indicator in my opinion.Betting against his opinions could prove very profitable since he usually appears when a stock has excellent prospects and you don't see him on the boards where the share is stagnating for there are not many investors for him to wind up lol

All I am say is that Vast needs a properly funded commercial partner. Whilst it does not have one it is nothing but a standard AIM dog that will dilute its shareholders into oblivion whilst publishing reports of increased resources and riches to come.

Expression of interestToday 11:14i've been thinking...i know it can be dangerous sometimes...but this time it seems to make some sense.

the 2 licenses granted, The Piciorul Zimbrului and Magura Neagra licences, are absolutely massive whatever method of calculation you use - to big for VAST on their own.

So VAST must have gathered some expression of interest from potential JV/ Funding partners to develop the 2 assets BEFORE they applied for the licenses - otherwise they would have the licenses and no way of bringing it into production which will not sit well with the Rom Govt - and mess up any future plans for VAST in Romania. They would look stupid.

ALSO

The Rom Govt/ State would not have issued the licenses to VAST (a 'minnow') without the assurance that it has the financial backing and clout to develop the assets - it would have asked for the above expression of interest list showing the JV/ funding partners.

This ties in with my previous conversations with Roy (check my previous posts) in that he has investors ready and waiting for the big projects +£50m but struggle to raise capital on the smaller scale (Crede/ Bracknor etc)

Now that we have the licenses it may be a case of 'Dragons Den' going back to our various investors and asking them what they can offer and for what %

IMO the hard work has been done - just the finer details need sorting out.
