IMO BB's are a pool of research and ideas - you spend a few weeks reading them you get an idea of who to trust or not. The important thing to do(apart from your own research)is check what posters post, to see if they are genuine or not - in the end its your decision to invest or not.

Why is your own research anymore trustworthy than anybody else's. A commonly used but silly and unsubstantiated statement. If I have a toothache do I rely on my own research to determine if its due to:-

1) A broken filling.
2) An abcess.
3) A cracked tooth

No I go to my dentist for an expert opinion. He may not always be right but his opinion is a damn sight more informed than mine.

The same applies to investments. It is right and proper that people can rely on the expert advice of professionals in the field of investments.

I liase with the CEO a couple of months ago and he had a strained relationship with the Nomad then. Push or be pushed omes to mind. Even a couple of months ago they were probably going through the process so I wouldn't be co concerned. If in doubt, contact Roy Pitchford

franky..the previous nomad has resigned from multiple companies recently so i wouldnt worry...should appoint a new one by the new year or week after.

Franky, rule no 1, never trust anyone except your own research. Rule no 2, only invest on AIM what you can afford to loose and still carry on with your daily lifestyle stress free.Rule no 3, take your profits before anyone else and run for the hills.

You will get plenty of time and opportunity to exit this share if no nomad is appointed by 31/01/2017.

Reputable posters on LSE have stated they have spoken to directors of the company recently and have been assured the nomad will not be an issue. At the moment I am inclined to believe them for as per my post 24/12/2016 there is a specific reason why the two are parting company and it has nothing to do with Vast Resources.

If it appears they are not going to get a new nomad the Shareprophets team will tell you well in advance and you will notice the share price begin to drift down as those in the know exit.

yeah but lse VAST thread had over 600 posts in one day...ADVFN is dead..only mostly city boys posting..pi's have left long ago

The LSE forum has taken over from ADVFN because it only allows for one thread. So whether you are positive, negative or indifferent you are always on track with the lastest conversation.

There are nine threads for VAST here. Some stocks have even more. ADVFN would do well to take a leaf out of their book.

I remember when the legendary QXL touched 0.1p back in the early 21st century after falling from 750p in a few years..then in 2004 it announced its first profit and 8 bagged in 2 days before falling back to about 0.5p...it then kept rising to around 20p in 3 years becoming a 200 bagger if you had bought in at the bottom..will history repeat here? i think we may have a good chance..

ps...cant believe how quiet this thread is...on the lse forum they cant keep away,so much excitement there because they know this is the 'big' one you probably only get once in 10 years...

Fantastic chart this - tells you everything you needed to know
Williams -100 alerts to a potential btm
Clear divergence between the share price & osc's (selling momentum fading)
Chaikin Money flow (area blocks) shows the blocks of sellers weakening naturally
Then the piercing candle reversal pattern - Elder astutely observes that when price action is clearly at the range extreme, the pros (inst,MMs) sometimes like to put in a nasty fake out - a final flush - bit like a pro football striker doing a double side step - that's exactly what happened here - the CMF areas shows the real pi blocks shrinking - BUT the spike down has no real volume area to it - so BS. The very fact that they pulled a fake out at the range extreme is the poker tell if you are aware that's the game - it tells you they know full well its due a turn &/or they have information.

Posted on another BB by Castaway referring to the new licence area Magura Neagra Polymetallic Licence
IMO the magnitude of this new licence area has not been realised by the market by a long way - obviously most are on Hols by the time this RNS was released but I have no doubt when a few mining analysts look at the rough figures the current share price will seem rather low.

From Thursdays RNS re MNP:

"five veins were outlined by means of underground development and surface diamond drilling reportedly totalling 3.0Mt of gold, silver, and polymetallic mineralisation"

" porphyry style mineralisation have indicated an exploration target of up to 3,000Mt of ore to a depth of 600m, at grades ranging from 0.4% copper ("Cu") and 0.3g/t gold ("Au") up to 0.8% Cu and 0.5g/t Au. The Romanian exploration team surmised that at a 10% conversion ratio from exploration target to a mineral reserve, the reserves may total 300Mt of ore and place it above the current operations of Cuprumin at Rosia Poieni."

Rosia Poieni is the second largest copper mine in Europe and ours is potentially twice the size.

I know codders mentioned it could take 10 years to develop a huge mine like this and in any normal circumstance I agree this would be the case but that is from acquiring the site to mining - we are part of the way down that route and I believe that it may be possible to get mining if all goes well in a few years - I have this on good authority.

I also mentioned that if you add only 1% of the potential value of this mine ($30bn) to our market cap it would increase it by $30 million - well that is clearly incorrect its $300 million!

With current shares in issue that is £244 mil or 5.5p - that's a 20 bagger!

That excludes anything else PP, BPPM, the other new licence area Piciorul Zimbrului, Mnaila etc.

Add those in and very soon I can see 10p dependent on dilution, but as we know the BoD is already looking at a JV and or non dilutery finance.

The nomad resignation here is not your normal resignation. The nomad Strand Hanson has already stated it may not be a going concern due to unpaid tax liabilities. Some 30 AIM companies would be looking to move away from Strand Hanson over the next few months.

The question is will they be taken on elsewhere?. If they have cash and are a genuine company then the answer is yes. If they exist solely to fleece private investors then the answer is no.
