Have a look at a stock that has risen sharply, such as Tristel (TSTL), is it the mms fault it has risen? No its just a reaction to the trades going through, if the mms have no stock to sell they have to raise the price.

the mms dont give a toss where the price is, they are only trying to encourage trades

what they dont want is over selling so as soon as they start to accumulate stock they drop the price

any stock where the price reacts like this means that there are more sellers than buyers

suck it up and stop whinging about it, its not the mms fault you bought the stock

You couldnt make this up, less than 2 grands worth sold and down she goes, all the previous buys ignored. Cal is right, it's regular on many shares and they have got away with it for years. We have spoke of this many times and how they are cutting their own throats because people given time just won't invest in aim dispite government trying to encourage people to invest in junior companies. They are running this just to line their own pockets with bent practice.

Hope some of you made some decent money from that latest spike. Most of you have been here long enough to know the pattern by now

To make things even worse, I pay for level 2 and my broker (Stocktrade) regularly argue with me on live prices and it always seems to go against you. I think the whole market is corrupt and full of greedy cheats who steal from honest investors. I personally strogly suspect that investing in stocks on the AIM market has nothing to do with companies intrinsic values, but what they can screw out of your investment - disgusting - AIMVHO

Totally agree Martyn9 - I couldn't type what I really think of the BOD, house broker and mm's for this (in my humble opinion) corrupt stock. No UK casino would get away with what goes on day in day out on the AIM market. The FCA either don't care or lack any authority to regulate and control AIM. A breeding ground for what is fundamentally wrong with capitalism - greed and corruption - AIMVHO

Have to agree with you cal on the MM's manipulation aspect with this, any buys hardly lift the share price but quick to trigger the share price down on sells.Creates an untrue picture.BENT.

AIM and seemingly UEN is a star player at sucking folks money in and trapping them until they are forced to sell - seemingly NOTHING to do with actual performance. What an absolute CESSPIT - AIMVHO

I just feel sorry for all the new mugs who invested in this ghost ship yesterday. If only they knew how UEN trading works !!!!! AIMVHO

Thanks Calmtrader, I just didn't take the time to read the update properly. You live up to your avatar which, as we sink back to our usual 2.5p level of late, is what one needs to be.

Calm!

Jiggsy, fair questions, no problems.

As regards the net debt, comparing figures from 12 months earlier is the only way to get a feel for the change in the numbers, they are clearly getting worse. If you look at the last set of finals and compare that change over 12 months it is just as bad and that is not affected by the things you mention, the payment of the loans and the acquisitions. Whether the increased reserves and 2 tanker shipments have any affect time will tell, but I think that is all smoke and mirrors to detract shareholders from the basic fact which is the company never makes any money.

I made a profit on my holding in UEN, bought at 5p and sold at 7p. Probably 24 months ago I turned very negative on the whole sector, the average investor in small co oil and gas has lost a fortune, that is a FACT. The AIM O&G index is about the worst performing sector on AIM. Now you here either because you are unaware of this fact or because you believe that you are cleverer than the average investor, neither of which applies to me.

There are many other aim casino plays out there that will most probably multi bag by crimbo and into next year I'm afraid UEN is not one of them this is a bottom cellar type hold here if UEN decide to take another loan out then the theory of being self sufficient will be blown out the water . Wouldn't it be great if the board took a salary CUT with our life style company , Andrew Shrager are your ears burning ????
