That made me chuckle Chav. I can sympathise and well understand Cal's frustrations with this share. I have built a sizeable stake over the many years I have been invested. Fingers crossed that eventually I might see some value and profit for my patience.

I suspect the mm's hold very little of this stock. It seems to be a bit like a slow game of pass the parcel and when the music stops and the last person opens it, there is nothing in it !!

Well the problem is that UEN have historically had appaulling timing and very poorly worded RNS's - deliberate for a purpose is the question ! AIMVHO

Good statement from Petroneft today, they are now announcing quarterly production updates shortly after the end of each quarter, a very good example of how shareholder communications should be conducted.

The last performance plan required the directors to have a pulse on a certain future date.

It would be good to know exactly what the terms of these performance related share award were - anyone been able to source this?

If it's linked to share price, i.e. they get 25 million shares between them when the share price hits 50p, then I'm all for it! If it's just turning up for work and ensuring the company does just enough to pay their salary, they return nothing to shareholders and the share price remains stagnant then i'll be voting no! If this isn't clarified before the AGM then i'll also be voting NO!

In November there could be an agreement signed between OPEC (who want to freeze oil production( and Russia ( who want to freeze and reduce production)and maybe other oil producing countries will sign up too. The price is rising just on the rumour of it.
I wonder how that would leave an expanding in size and planned increased production little oiler like Urals if they all sign up .
Our future is increased production. Our BOD keep telling us so and if they are being honest with us we are well on our way to achieving higher figures .
We just tread water economically with the current production volumes. UEN need to grow or we will all be here in 2030.

Would the agreement affect Urals plans for growth .? Surely it must .Maybe not Petroakh cause of the high grade oil and it is not exported but Articneft is all export .Thoughts anyone?

Caledonianman1 It's still( almost) the same old board but they have Adler watching what they are doing. I hope !! .

Another 25 million shares will eventually be out there but " linked to performance by the company over at least three year period " to me sounds a positive .They seem to have a long term agenda.

Maybe a bit longer in my bottom draw than I thought but I can wait ( It's been years already and times I have thought Urals was dead ) .
If passed i hope the incentive of performance share works for all staff involved and in turn to all us share holders benefit too.

Concerns? The BOD just divvy out the shares to each other.
I am a cynical optimist !!

Cal, I genuinely do hope things change for you and your fellow shareholders here. However I doubt it very much. You actually posted that you wanted to put other people off buying the share as you think it is so bad. Would you buy this share now? If not why are you still holding? I learnt a long time ago to cut my losses.

Cal filtered; rants just too depressing, Neftanik & Turner are bad enough. Rumours of a crude oil production freeze, here's hoping. BTW thanks Chav for the SOLG tip, wish I had the sense to put more in at 2 & 3p, could have made back a large slice of my UEN loses.
