Once this news is digested,i would think we should see a rise in the share price Future funding in place for various drill and plant upgrades.Still undervalued at this level.imo.

A 3000m well needs an extremely heavy duty rig (500te) which would cost perhaps $10m to bring to Kolguev even before it started drilling. It simply won't happen, don't kid yourself.

The state could not make it pay ( no big surprise there) so Urals take ANK on .
It is no surprise to Urals that Kolguyev Island is remote their braek even Articneft site is already there to the East and West of the ANK oil field.
Our directors think a combined strategy would be cost affective upping joint production to 1,000bbls a day and forecasting two tanker loads per year instead of one with minimal extra outlay. I like "cost cutting measures"
I say well done Urals if market support for this sector returns we will be a growing stronger forward thinking company with bigger proven assets.
Buy or hold imo.but it wont be a quick buckmaker

There's no point in having reserves if you can only recover a dribble without spending a fortune, especially if said reserves are located in one of the most remote oilfields in the world

Reserves which are largely unrecoverable without huge capital investment
