Hi Barrie,

Cognito alone worth more than the current £1.5m market cap, lets wait and see what comes along with Solar part of the business in 2015.
If Solar takes off, great - a big bonus, otherwise, UTN still has Cognito which makes 300k profit a year.

We all like to hear more, given time, we will learn more. I will sit back and see what comes our way.

Saudi are going for the solar off-grid solution in a big way, they see it as the best way to reduce their dependancy on diesel for off-grid areas. They say they have all of the technical data they require and expect to open up the tendering procees for 150 projects. UTN have got to be in the mix, their data exceeds expectations and it is on the table to be examined. The Gtek.com.sa website has also been defaulted back to 2012, is this in preparation for an update? They have the solution, the local factory and are in the market; I still believe!

Is this tied up with UTN?? At the moment Ultima Networks don't seem to get anything right. Can anyone tell me what's happening to the company?? Maybe the chairman, Professor Mughal can issue a RNS??

I think IIRC that Italy is on hold. It proved too expensive or difficult to negotiate connection to the grid. All from my unreliable memory.

I was interested to find out a few months ago that Spain has difficulty using all its solar generated electricity. They wanted to build a link to France to enable them to sell surplus electricity there, but they hit opposition. I suspect a lot of the opposition was from the French nuclear industry, but the overt reason given for refusing permission to build the link was the aesthetic impact of pylons on the Pyrenees. They eventually settled for a DC link carried on a buried cable which which was to cross the Pyrenees at the Eastern end, but last time I checked, the work had not started.

I expect Italy faces the same sort of logistic difficulty in getting electricity from where it is generated to where it is needed.

Treacle was just a lying conman but what has happened to fido and maysun the ten year rampers who briefly came out of their bunkers after 10 years of failed ramping ?
