Acceptance of Tender

    Triple Point VCT plc (the "Company") has pleasure in announcing that pursuant to the circular (the "Circular") that was posted to
shareholders relating to proposals for a tender offer for the Company to purchase up to 4,000,000 million of its ordinary shares at 92p per
share (the "Tender Offer"), tenders for 3,390,537 ordinary shares (the "Ordinary Shares") have been accepted, being 10.6 % of the issued
share capital of the Company and which will result in the return of £33,905.37 of the Company's capital.

    A special resolution (the "Special Resolution") was passed at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 27 August 2008 approving
the Tender Offer, and the contract to be entered into by the Company and those shareholders participating in the Tender Offer for the
purpose of giving effect to the Tender Offer, as set out in the Circular.

    It is intended that the purchase by the Company of the Ordinary Shares, and the despatch of consideration to those shareholders
tendering the Ordinary Shares, will be completed by 29 August 2008. 

    A copy of the Special Resolution has been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will be available for inspection at the UK Listing
Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:
