23/12/2011 10:21 | Hi Des. Interesting to see you here. I've been watching this for a while. Good dividend which is underpinned by the income from the existing business with a good cash pile underpinning the NAV. I doubt they'll return the cash; they seem to want to spend it on acquisitions although they are not rushing into anything. The spread is a put off. | stemis
22/12/2011 17:50 | I've bought in here over the last couple of days but only in small size as concerns about how they'll use the cash pile remain. That said, AMRAC looks to be trading well and likely to grow and the numbers stack up on an EBITDA / EV basis. If only they'd return £20mill of the central cash to shareholders then I'd be happy to build a decent position. | deswalker
13/12/2011 07:29 | Anyone got a clue as to how much additional revenue these 4 extra venues will generate? | wywcu1
11/10/2011 09:18 | I see the chart has that limp hand look again after the small rise with the contract renewal....and so it goes on...however no shareholding now just look in to see what I would have missed...currently not a lot... | calamity
11/10/2011 09:15 | lm...yes...couldn't see this going anywhere fast or soon...enjoyed the divi's...but having been in them since the year dot called time and put my money elswhere... | calamity
10/10/2011 13:58 | Agree fairenough. calamity, does you 219 posting mean you too have sold. So far I am happy with TCG. | littlemadam
06/10/2011 07:57 | Cravens signed a contract with Hills---Errr its like saying the water board have signed me up for them to provide me with water. An office junior could have completed the formalities---lol. This lot get well paid for doing NOWT IMO.No development of business--NOWT!Just draw their large salaries and attend nothing meetings about--NOTHING. | fairenough11
04/10/2011 13:11 | Ironically now the shareprice seems to be turning the corner (seems, I may be wrong). And not significantly affected by the broader market. | nicedude1976
03/10/2011 20:56 | lm...goodness out of the freezer into the fridge...I didn't know people still went on holiday in these oustair ??? times...can't see them growing and these broker notes are usually way off mark to basically disregard...but good luck.. yeh solid divi but no growth...and usally after waiting 6 months for the interim and another 6 months for final you could have sold a penny a share more before the ex and still be as well off in fact better off after...I also had been in for 2 to 3 years and enough was enough.... | calamity
30/9/2011 12:01 | Just got bored. As a small pi I need excitement. | littlemadam
29/9/2011 15:20 | Why have you sold when this is paying a rock solid dividend yield of 9.6%? | stemis
29/9/2011 13:18 | calamity. I too have sold my holding, 2 days ago. That's usually a sign for a share price to take off! But I have just got fed up of waiting, having held for more than 2 years. Put the proceeds into TCG the other day. A broker forecast of 140p just out this morning, so here's hoping - once again. | littlemadam
28/9/2011 18:53 | That's it I'm all out....good luck anyone staying on...only time will tell if I've bailed to early but given it a good go to come good and it hasn't...so It's goodby TMW pasture and on to new pastures.......watch out for Joe to get this down and a silly offer sometime in the future... | calamity
21/9/2011 13:06 | grhamburn - a bit of both I think. It really does make you wonder what the CEO and the rest of the Board do from day to day. Maybe they are all (very, very) part-time. All that cash just lying about earning about 2% interest and so many quoted companies with good prospects and business plans crying out for funds. Bit of a disgrace and TMW should be a little ashamed of themselves. | littlemadam
21/9/2011 08:36 | Seems from the RNS today that the company is not that competent at forward planning. One would have expected that the search for a new Chairman would have started when it was first announced on 26 August, if not before actually. If this aspect of corporate governance and management is not a priority, then what other aspects of forward planning are in abeyance pending the appointment of a new Chairman. Or maybe it's a tough job to find anyone interested in taking on the role.... | grahamburn
19/9/2011 18:48 | You may be correct Dealer Dan, the way the TMW board have handled things about 30p a share would probably do it. | littlemadam
19/9/2011 13:14 | I think we should be very very wary of major shareholder Joe Lewis who is about to pick up Mitchell & Butler for next to nothing so I think he might try same tactic as with a very weak M&B board on TMW ( also poor ). See Sunday Times bus 19/9 Opinions welcomed. | dealer dan
12/9/2011 10:02 | calamity - Like a few others here, I keep holding in the hope something will happen & in the meantime the divi helps. Do you think the Chairman finally leaving will allow things to happen? Once again, good old Timeweave. Solid as a rock in turbulent markets. zzzzzz | littlemadam
10/9/2011 19:15 | But in the mean time the share price has dropped 1.5p so had you sold 3 weeks ago you would have been better off than waiting for the divi and then pay tax...thats if you are into that sort of thing....so basically anyone considering selling would have been quids in doing so rather than waiting for the divi.... And I did warn you lm regarding the rns on the share movements....I'm afraid none of the big guys do as they should and there's no one to hold them accountable..... | calamity
08/9/2011 21:21 | Well, no rns. I am left wondering what, if anything is going on. I see anyone on the register on 9/9 qualifies for the 1p divi. Does that mean I get the divi if I sell my shares tomorrow, the 9th? | littlemadam
31/8/2011 10:58 | 3 days I believe....but don't hold your breath lm....you may expire before you see it...and most probably we'll all expire holding breath or not...I tend to be very cynical on reporting as I've seen it all before...It's not the company that is responsible but the holders informing the company such that the company can issue an RNS...I'm not sure whether the 3 days is the period the holders are supposed to inform or the company informing the market through an rns after recieving notification of such transactions.. few people buying in to receive the divi yesterday...probably only to sell after ex date or recorded date.... | calamity
31/8/2011 10:05 | IF such a large number of shares have changed hands, do we know how long before it has to be reported? | littlemadam
30/8/2011 10:52 | boad....thanks for the clarification....... | calamity |
