overhang clear would make a lot of sense.

Interesting

Watched this for a good while, and bought in late last week after the 'results in line' statement on the 18th. The 7%+ divi helped my decision and the share price movement is looking interesting now too . .

r&j - agreed, let's hope things change from here on. We should test the new CEO soon!
I am hoping for nearer to 30p by results.
Decent buys this a.m.

So warley have sold their 2.4ml Still only 15ml shares available The problem is the management do not have a strategy to grow the company A decent aquisition with growth prospects and with so few shares available the share price would take off very quickly

I bought in here because the company kept turning up on various stock screens

My main worries are about the quality of the management And the fact they are not willing to speak to PI's on the phone is disgraceful In the past I have never had a problem speaking to senoir management of AIM companies In fact I find them eager to promote their companies

They need to learn how to keep their shareholders informed

Looks like we should get back to 24p before the results

Thanks for that. I had a look.
I see Warley Associates announced today they had sold their holding. This might be the reason why the price has held back, while the overhang was cleared.
On Timeweave website I do not see Warley as a major shareholder. It says they reduced their holding from 4%, when they had a holding of 2m.

I wonder where and how the large volume was worked yesterday - was it 20m?
Can you help? I am confused - probably getting the wrong end of the stick as usual!

I topped up today in the hope that something is afoot.

The only holder I know of with that size is Joe Lewis' fund (Mayfair I think it is called).
Any thoughts or ideas?

Looks like a large number of shares are being transfered from one of the major holders to someone else should be an RNS to explain the holding change

Can anyone please help asap. Today's volume 20m. One trade of over 8m.
Buys or sells?
20m is just under 10% of the company.

I too agree. I was thinking of posting earlier today but got side tracked.
I have thought for the past 6 motnhs or so that there was little need for and FD. You or I could look after the company. £30m in the bank, profits of @ £7m+ and operating in a niche market.
Easy peasy.

I think from here on it could and should get interesting.

I know for a fact the Chairman has spent the last 6 months undertaking a strategic review.
He has consulted the major shareholders, including 29.9% holder Joe Lewis.
The outgoing FD is probably a nice guy (I have spoken to him) but it may be that he did not agree with the way forward. For example he wanted to lower the dividend while the Company is committed to 'returning all the profits to shareholders'.

OK, so someone says the CEO choice is low key, hells bells who would they hope to recruit into a company valued at les that £60m? Also, I suspect the Chairman and Joe Lewis, while not wanting a 'yes' man, need someone who will fit in with their way of thinking.
Interesting he has links with the Tote.

The results of the review and new direction will be revealed with the results in a few weeks.
From today's RNS I think they have something up their sleeves.
I hope it is a major move forward. They could get some serious investors on board. They could afford to issue a load of new shares (say 50m at 22p - guessing her as there are not that many shares currently in issue) to raise a further pot of cash and then pounce.

Fanciful thinking? Maybe.

I agree with that britshb, also the statement said results are in line with the boards expectations so no shocks on the 2nd March I hope.

The long term FD was an Alphameric bod.

TMW is, at the present time a 50% shareholder in Amalgamated Racing plus a big pile of cash. Assuming Amal Racing have their own finance dept the old FD is presumably not required to count the cash every day....

Not sure what your concern is CF???

Geeeezz I have no holding here but this looks very poor ! The long term FD leaves without a replacement and the suggestion that it is because the company must have a Board that reflects it's size! Was the new man previously an FD ?

I have held this one for over s decade when dropped to £1.20 from over double that - thats when I learned the meaning of a 'dead cat bounce' cos it then went down again to 80's & I have bought & sold all the way down. I still hold this so losing £1 share !! Scuse me while I get another hankie as a bubble coming on.
Sorry but I am in favour of the return of funds to shareholders (est 6p) rather than a purchase. Try sending em a letter.
AND HE WE GO AGAIN 3 million buys - the start of another bounce !!
oh the sound of that boyng !!

Dealer Dan.
Can you help? I want to suggest to the Chairman or FD they should take a look at ZEN. Just put itself up for sale. Market cap is £13m, has cash in the bank of £13m and technology which is well worth grabbing. TMW should consider buying the company.
I have tried contacting but, although I am a shareholder they will not speak to me as I do not appear on the shareholders list (I hold through TDW nominee account).
Can you try?

Like the look of this company but can`t for the life of me understand the share price performance. Plenty of cash no debt from what i can see and a great fantastic yield yet the share price has sailed south for the last few years perhaps it`s a growth issue but to me it looks unfairly treated by the market but i`m no expert.

Can anyone hazard a guess at what the companies real price is worth in terms of cash and assets?

Thanks in advance

At least Joe Lewis is still a big supporter, I know that for a fact. The current market cap is under £50m, profits are sound and there is £30m in the bank. Yet still we drop.
Hello, management, anyone there?

I have a fair %ge of my portfolio in TMW and have also been singularly unimpressed with the lack of movement or news over the last months. On the face of it today's falls look bad - but it represents a change of tactic by someone.

I got the distinct feeling the price was being held at 24p for many months, any drop in the price would be met with a large buy to bring the price back up and vice versa.

The price now appears to being allowed to fall - it could of course be bad news coming. On the other hand it could be that somebody wants to trigger some stop losses or panic a few sellers to enable someone to pick up some shares on the cheap.

I might be reading too much into it and certainly not going to make any predictions... but at least something's happening!
