09/2/2011 13:11 | Lord knows we need something. Price down again. I am tempted to average down, but the market clearly needs a lot to happen to impress. And still nothing from the company, who seem not to give a toss. | littlemadam
09/2/2011 09:10 | dealit - I have to agree with you. I e-mailed the Chairman twice since Xmas and did not even get an acknowledgement. I regard that as very rude. I understand he has been carrying out his review for some months now and is due to announce his results 'shortly' (perhaps sometime during 2012?). The wait had better be worth it. I wonder how much interest the £30m has earned? It's probably not even on deposit! I am still willing to wait as I think at sometime the market will take notice. In the meantime the company does indeed seem to have no regard for shareholders, except 29.9% holder Joe Lewis who has been involved in the consultation process. | littlemadam
05/2/2011 08:10 | The share price is drifting back I feel due to the lack of news, there as not been an announcement since Aug 2010. All this would point to the fact that the standing in Chairman does not have any regard for share holders. | dealit
03/2/2011 00:23 | looks like that this is being marked down because of the problems in the racing industry because of the dispute over low prize money | richandjanet
02/2/2011 20:39 | Down we go again. I have e-mailed the chairman twice to ask what is going on and when we can expect news but have had no response. I know the following message might sound rude, but I am losing patience. Of course, small shareholders don't really matter ...... do they? Sent via the FD. Dear Mr McLaren, I have still not received any response from the Chairman - not even an acknowledgement of my e-mails. I think I have been very patient in waiting so long. Do you know of any reason why he has ignored my mail? I find the situation unacceptable. In the meantime we see the share price dropping, during a time when markets have recovered and many, many share prices have risen substantially. Timeweave is in an enviable position with its cash and profits, a position which many companies would envy. Shareholder value is indeed being seriously eroded. I hope this review is worth waiting for! Any comments - from the Chairman or ANYONE would be appreciated. | littlemadam
27/1/2011 11:12 | last year preliminary finals were out on feb 9th, however the year end is now one month later so maybe this time march 9th approx, though there should be less work involved with the accounts this time. | timorg
27/1/2011 10:40 | Yes...but It's like watching paint dry... | calamity
27/1/2011 09:56 | Does this mean I am not the only TMW PI? | littlemadam
27/1/2011 07:33 | This looks a no brainer for an income portfolio If the website is correct most of the shares are out of circulation so very little free float Any decent aquisition could lead to a major re rating | richandjanet
19/1/2011 19:20 | The FD informs me that the Chairman is to shortly report the results of his review.Maybe the rumour machine has started .. just guessing. Was that 600,000 at 24.2p a buy? Also, 1.7mtraded today is a hell of a turnover for this share. | littlemadam
11/1/2011 19:47 | Remember the interim div was 1p, if final another 1p then at 25p thats 8%. If final 1.1p as per broker consensus then 8.8%. Plus a load of cash ready to be launched into another project, or invested, when the right oppurtunity arises. | timorg
11/1/2011 16:17 | Appears somethings cooking....more 200K buys amongst others...but where are they coming from there has been no reported sells of any substance to feed these...is this winding up or about to plunge...is someone getting out on the quiet or are they T trades with inside info... | calamity
11/1/2011 12:02 | timorg. Wonder if something is leaking? A 200,000 buy is a lot for this share. | littlemadam
07/1/2011 18:26 | Thanks for reply lets hope for something the city likes. | timorg
07/1/2011 17:16 | timorg. I understand the Chairman might produce the results of his review this month. | littlemadam
07/1/2011 16:55 | at 12.33 955k of trades went thru all at 25p, shown as 50k buy. 250k sell,250k sell,250k sell,130k sell. then at end of day a couple of small sells of 185 at 24.25, having the effect of bringing closing price down. my opinion is that the 955k were all buys even though mostly shown as sells. This could be interesting as we approach the eoy results. | timorg
20/12/2010 12:11 | Excess cash should be returned to shareholders: no other justifiable use for it. | cjohn
04/12/2010 13:12 | Have you read the other thread regarding the Racing Post article posted on 3i site..... | calamity
03/12/2010 13:14 | calamity. I do not have any sophisticated device, but it seems to me that MMs have soaked up a lot of sells over the past few weeks but the price has held. I find that re-assuring. The Chairman is due to report the results of his review in January. Let's hope for something positive. My main concern is what they choose to spend the cash on. Difficult to see them buying a business which fits into what is already there. That's where Joe Lewis comes in, he'll keep them focussed. Sell the lot and buy an oily, I say!! | littlemadam
19/11/2010 19:22 | Yes a considerable amount...in fact very nearly 132K....not hard cash..I wish.. but shares...and would like something positive to happen soooonnnnnnnnnnnnnn. | calamity
18/11/2010 20:16 | calamity. So, I take it you hold? Just trying to help mate. Sorry, I just don't know. He's a billionaire so I suppose he can wait his time. I am only feeding back the feeling I get from my chat to the FD. All I know is that, after all this time, I am reluctant to sell because I believe things might come good in early 2011. Just like any other share I hold. What the hell! | littlemadam
18/11/2010 18:43 | Well he's had very nearly 11 months of waiting....or do you mean 2011... | calamity
18/11/2010 11:52 | 1999. You on the correct site? Anyway, IF we get over 26p here then who knows what. But would start to look interesting. Mr Lewis still holds 29.9% and he will want to see some action from January 2010. | littlemadam
15/11/2010 11:17 | wow we have the full geek squad on come on drill harder..... 10.x10.13.1x0 - ROFLMAO :) | nineteenninetynine |
