31/1/2006 14:11 | Rising again. | tday
28/12/2005 17:39 | No strong reason but it has been on an uptrend & it takes very little to shift sentiment - I will buy in again when the price is lower. | the freelancer
22/12/2005 20:57 | Paul Tuson the former Financial Officer was Strategic's latest recruit (joined 2004), There could be a number of reasons why he suddenly left and we can only speculate at this stage. The guy had barely been with them for a year....and it is always possible that he did not fit into the scheme of things with the company, perhaps more so with the recent acquisition of 'Line International' back in November! It could even be personal...who knows....pure conjecture on my part! His job track record does indicate that he moves fairly quickly from one company to another!!! I see no reason at this stage to sell mine based on his departure, as there is still a lot of upside for this company. Purely my own personal opinion. Regards, J | jazzgal
22/12/2005 15:46 | I sold mine today - I don't like the sound of the FD leaving suddenly. | the freelancer
08/12/2005 18:40 | All gone a bit quiet. | tday
29/11/2005 08:39 | To quote: I'm loving it! | the freelancer
28/11/2005 14:15 | People beginning to realise the potential this co offers. Certainly a lot of buys today and on friday. Apparently there was an interesting article on STR in the FT on friday | jakleeds
28/11/2005 13:57 | bit of a hike today? any reason? | the freelancer
25/11/2005 09:28 | Just bought some - looks pretty good as a longer term hold. | the freelancer
24/11/2005 11:00 | Traders closing their positions after the recent results and rise in the share price Will give us some good opportunities to top up at lower prices imho, in the near future | jakleeds
23/11/2005 22:30 | Tipped in growthinvestor as a strong buy, although as said above we could see a pull back in price share as this cannot keep going up eps half way 3.9p up 105%, for a pe of around 26. Fairly priced at present. | guru11
23/11/2005 17:41 | Another nice rise today, but I feel there's bound to be a technical pullback sooner or later. Still valued at only 52 mill. Can't believe how quiet this board is with the potential this co offers. | jakleeds
22/11/2005 11:01 | jakleeds there will be exciting times ahead. The recent acquisition will also be enhancing to earnings, which is presently not in broker forecast figures. | papalpower
22/11/2005 10:55 | There's a reason why the pe is 25ish. It could be a lot higher given the prospects, just look at some of the companies they are doing business with. Also they have already shown that they can exceed forecasts. WJ made some good points about the lumpiness of the contracts and the possibility of delays, but in my view there will be plenty of good news released as well, eg:- "Over the second half year we plan to expand ARM's sales resource, particularly in the US and expect to issue Release 3.0 of ARM before the end of the financial year." Exciting times ahead... | jakleeds
22/11/2005 10:27 | STR and SNX are both buys I think, but do your own research. STR going up well now, should see some more solid gains in the months ahead. | papalpower
21/11/2005 18:36 | Good results. Only thing that concerns me is the lumpiness of the contracts as shown by the H2 weighting and the potential slippage effect when the PE is 25 or so. If one or two contracts get delayed then it's a warning and a drop of 40% in the price not really through any thought of their own. Don't you love the shot-termism of the market :-) | wjccghcc
21/11/2005 13:03 | Quiet on here today, given the excellent set of results. I think we can see these being tipped several times in the next few weeks. They said in the TS profits would be no less than 0.8m, and they deliver 0.9m. I particularly like the outlook statement:- Outlook The primary source of the Group's future revenue growth will be the Risk Management business and licence sales of Active Risk Manager continue to be strong, with the pipeline developing well in both the USA and Europe. Over the second half year we plan to expand ARM's sales resource, particularly in the US and expect to issue Release 3.0 of ARM before the end of the financial year. The acquisition of Line offers us significant new opportunities. Its customer base and market positioning are highly complementary to the Group's and we expect significant synergies from the combination of the two businesses. There is a discernible momentum in the markets addressed by the Group and the Company is well positioned to benefit from the available opportunities. The Board views the future prospects of the Group with confidence. The outlook for the current year remains very encouraging. | jakleeds
16/11/2005 11:40 | Onwards and upwards, on a bad day too. Can't be bad. | tday
04/10/2005 10:54 | Retracement today. I wonder why? | tday
29/9/2005 20:29 | Do they have any competitors ? Any idea who ? | noidea
29/9/2005 16:43 | Good trading statement. Like what they do, but they seem susceptible to very lumpy contracts. Anyone got any brokers forecasts? | wjccghcc
29/9/2005 15:30 | Another jump in the share price | tday
26/8/2005 20:02 | IfG is a good publication but I have noticed that when share price rise sharply after a tipsheet recommendation, often fall back after the profit takers get out. Particularily so with small companies with low free float. | blue_max
26/8/2005 11:54 | Recommended in this month's Investing for Growth, hence the rise in the share price over the last few days. | tday
24/7/2005 12:38 | Hello Cezary! I looked at this on the first day of dealings, but it was shooting away so I forgot about it. Now we're back to nearer the float price, it might be worth another look. Certainly the revenues growth looks strong. John | jonwig |
