27/6/2007 20:10 | So, the 30,000 trade was a buy after all - and by a director. Shows confidence, I suppose. | tday
25/6/2007 16:33 | Another 15,000 shares apparently sold at 64p and yet the price doesn't move. Very odd. | tday
25/6/2007 14:22 | Interesting that the bid price added 1p to 64p today. Then a trade for 30,000 shares - apparently a sell - didn't knock the price back. Perhaps it was a buy, in which case why? | tday
20/6/2007 12:41 | Well, that's Profit Warning No3 - so it should be uphill from now on, or maybe not. | jonwig
19/6/2007 20:48 | A right disaster. With effect from today, Richard Higgs, chief executive, will be stepping down from the Board and from the Company. | iou1lov
19/6/2007 08:59 | So much for my theory. | tday
15/6/2007 18:24 | Results must be out soon. Last year they were announced on 6 June. | tday
01/6/2007 15:49 | Still creeping up. Results update due any day now. Recent buying, albeit small, suggests there could be some positive news. | tday
14/5/2007 15:07 | leytonorient, Were you referring to your football team? Meanwhile, STR's share price is climbing ever so slowly. | tday
03/4/2007 21:12 | Give it a year and they will be laying off staff and they will be begging for rescue funding Cheers Lee | leytonorient
03/4/2007 13:28 | The statement effectively lays the blame on the performance of the sales team. If thats true it can be fixed with management effort but the worry must be that the problem lies with the product. Perhaps its not such an all embracing Enterprise R M system as they like to think but one that well meets the needs of those industries for which it was first developed but not of such general application as they hoped. The product can be enhanced but that means more development costs and a delay in receiving revenues. At least they still have a cash pile. Also a bit disappointing to see an impairment charge so soon on the acquisition. The old story of a management flush with new funds paying over the odds in a dash for growth I suppose. | actonman
03/4/2007 11:23 | MCap is 26.1m shs × £0.72 = £19m. NTA is about £4.3m, ie. 16p/sh. T/O seems stuck around £11m for the moment. Agreed, if T/O were to grow progressively with new conversions, the company could be transformed back to the early days of 180p. But at the moment, it's ex-growth and - possibly - waiting for the next (ie. 3rd) profit warning. You'd think, in today's business climate, that companies would be falling over themselves to use their kit. That, I think, was the story at IPO time. One to keep an eye on. | jonwig
02/4/2007 13:53 | TDay, ML increased their holding on 20/3. Only trades on that day were a couple of Riskless Principal transactions at 80p. Maybe more people would buy if they could get them at that price! More recently someone has sold 9000 shares (hardly a massive holding) and has accepted 82p for them as against a bid price at the time of 85p. I agree with you re the pilots. If they all (or even most) turned into firm orders the stock would fly. But until some do convert all it means is a much higher cost run rate than STR have had before. | actonman
28/3/2007 14:33 | Merrill Lynch have recently declared a 3%+ stake in the company. I can't believe they would increase their shareholding if, there wasn't better news in the pipeline. What interests me, is the pilot sites which, historically at any rate, have turned into firm orders. At the last announcement, there were 9 pilots as against 2 the previous year. What's more, they are for bigger customers and potentially for far larger amounts. However, we don't yet know how many of the nine, if any, have been converted into firm orders. Perhaps ML know which is why they have increased their stake. Anyway, I've recently increased by holding. | tday
16/2/2007 13:00 | Have just started looking at these today. I am struggling to value this company. Margin decreased from 44% to 25% and net cash flow only 0.18m in last reported period. Any thoughts? | malg
06/12/2006 13:38 | for the record, herald paid 92p ie that day's on the bid for this latest top up... | rambutan2
24/11/2006 08:10 | Mildly encouraging outlook statement so, topped up again this morning. | tday
23/11/2006 16:12 | Who says the company hasn't enough money to cover its debts? Still holding though mainly because you can only sell miniscule amounts. Having said that, I'll give the management another chance because, the software does seem to be good. | tday
15/11/2006 14:31 | is there noone left holding this share? | holgerl
15/11/2006 14:31 | Nothing scares off buyers more than the thought that the company does not have enough cash to cover its debts. | holgerl |
