03/9/2016 08:54 | Hi blueball, Plenty of coverage in todays papers. Good, bad or ugly ? ATB | extrader
03/9/2016 08:26 | Plenty of coverage in todays papers. | blueball
02/9/2016 16:16 | To be fair though, ethical concerns didn't stop TNI 10-bagging 4 years ago in the middle of the phone-hacking scandal... | cyberbub
02/9/2016 14:59 | Only thing which lets this share down are the ethics hxxp://www.waronwant | sh1984
02/9/2016 14:17 | Danboris, subject to no more PR disasters, I think 400p could come by mid-Sept personally... this is a very cash generative company on a modest rating, and is in full recovery mode IMO...NAI | cyberbub
01/9/2016 14:44 | I don't think £4 in the short term is unachievable. That is my target by end of September. | danboris2
01/9/2016 14:17 | bad news has been in the price for such a long time and now some better news just filtering through.... Still a huge business with massive reach. And the issues are being addressed now (slowly) long way to go on this | undervaluedassets
01/9/2016 13:52 | I have managed to get in today and am sitting on a small profit already, so hope it only gets better as the days pass by either side of AGM next week. Will hold long term and I can see MA contemplating a reverse takeover with the cash he has from his football ventures at Rangers and Newcastle, particularly if he can get some support from a large institutional investor/ venture capitalist as its given him too much hassle as a PLC recently. | sh1984
01/9/2016 13:43 | Good time to buy in. I first bought at 430 and then again at 260. Can see plenty of upside from here. MA made a decent profit on Newcastle transfers in last few days - he needs to put some magic on this share price now. | oggyrocks
01/9/2016 12:31 | Ok I'm convinced I'm in now, just purchased a whole load of shares following some research on the financials. Come on CEO need to deliver at the AGM now!! | sh1984
01/9/2016 11:47 | Agreed Phil, If you compare Sports Direct with JD Sports the financial figures vs Market Capital shows how undervalued Sports Direct is........ JD Sports has market cap of £2.56Bn and generated £1.8Bn of revenue in latest financial statement. Sports Direct has market cap today of £1.84Bn but generated £2.9Bn revenues in latest financial statement. So its only sentiment alone which is driving a low share price, put this right at the AGM next week and if the CEO can get the ethics of the company sorted the share price could fly........... | sh1984
01/9/2016 11:26 | And report on working practices will clear the air early next week. | philo124
01/9/2016 11:15 | Considering buying in here, share price seems undervalued considering Sports Direct is the UK's second largest clothing retailer - Also due a bump up with the AGM next week. | sh1984
27/8/2016 10:46 | Sky still putting boot in on MA. Disgraceful. | philo124
26/8/2016 19:03 | I can't see this being another BHS, for one this is a listed company whereas BHS was owned outright hence he was able to pay himself a special dividend of 500 million which ultimately sank the ship. All he needs to do is steady the ship because ultimately people spend with their pockets not their conscience, but I would like their working practices dealt with positively even if it impacts on profits. | terminated
25/8/2016 22:38 | one more profit warning brewing /? | dlku
25/8/2016 21:49 | Going to be a fiery AGMhTTp://www.bbc.co | discodave4
25/8/2016 13:16 | But could unearth something really unplesent in the accounts (if some credible auditor gets hold of them), Ashley and co buying shares to ensure they win the vote. Just too much stink, so thinking BHS now?. | kmann
24/8/2016 22:00 | Going to be some changes here, for the better. Oddey and co are a powerfull allience. Watch this spike after the agm, or before on a few choice resignations. Firework night going to come early this year! | kmann
23/8/2016 19:29 | What has happened to the buyback, seems to be on hold! | bookbroker
23/8/2016 11:58 | The other thing is that this share buy-back appears very difficult with the numbers of shares in the free float, for one the volumes required to actually buy back shares each day are quite substantial, I assume they are being bundled over several days hence the numbers reported through an RNS message are relatively small, exacerbated by the desire of leading holders to retain their stock. | bookbroker
23/8/2016 11:49 | betel, that is simply a crazy assumption, this co. has a good deal to do to restore confidence in Mike Ashley's management of the co. as major shareholder, I understand his desire to retain involvement of the direction of the co., but it is up to Halliwell and Forsey to assert themselves in eyes of the City with regard to corporate governance and being a listed co.! At the moment the minority shareholders are paying a high price for the past, it screams bargain at the current level as the leading sportswear co. In the country, but that role is slowly being usurped by JD Sports, management need to focus on regaining confidence in this co. as a PLC! | bookbroker
23/8/2016 09:19 | Bowl to 800p | betelgeuse1
23/8/2016 08:28 | They try to break this every time, but it comes back stronger ... like Terminator .. Chatrs too good to ignore now, break 350 back to the uptrend imo. The share buyback was for a reason ... ie they are CHEAP! | kmann
22/8/2016 18:23 | How will they boy back the rest of the 29 million between now and the AGM? Was also anticipating a higher price due to the buy back | rhatton |
