10/9/2015 07:55 | There's the RNS | cc2014
07/9/2015 19:51 | To be open I hope it's Ortho selling out even though it will it make take a little longer. Let's get them out the way so we don't have to keep talking about them | cc2014
07/9/2015 19:42 | Shares clearly coming Fidelity or Ortho. Fidelity sold 1.8m in June/July but we know have not been dripping them into the market since as even a small sale would have triggered an RNS. Ortho would make sense as a seller. Now, the puzzling bit. We have two large trades at different times probably delayed but all at the same price. This suggest either: one buyer getting stock from two sources one seller selling to two different buyers. I'm running the former - Woodford buying and two different sellers. It doesn't really matter. At some point if Woodford keeps buying, there won't be any sellers left except me and I want something more like 113p than 13p The end game is getting close on this and surely Woodford wouldn't be buying this much without substantial reasons | cc2014
07/9/2015 17:04 | There is in all probability a few smaller institutions trying to get out and have been for some time......That could be Ortho out of SPHR now...;-) | del44
07/9/2015 16:57 | Where are the shares coming from? 4m and no price change! | waterloo01
07/9/2015 16:23 | A couple of even larger trades gone through again..... | del44
07/9/2015 13:52 | Couple of large trades just gone through. Woodford buying again? | cc2014
29/8/2015 19:07 | Don't post there but lurk occasionally and had noticed ANO Palace fan. Some of Chelsea's players just didn't have the heart for the game (Fabrigas +) but Palace put there heart and bodies on the line and it paid off. | waterloo01
29/8/2015 18:55 | JL79 on the LSE board is a Palace fan as well...Left him a post there today...:-) Great result for you guys... Baggies fan here.....horrible 0-1 win today V Stoke...but a win is a win...:-) | del44
29/8/2015 18:07 | OT, at Chelsea game (in Chelsea end) watching CPFC win 2/1. As a Palace fan hard to keep quiet, but fantastic. Shows what determination can deliver! 2nd in league? | waterloo01
28/8/2015 14:40 | buywell3 ======== Are you invested in SPHR? | del44
28/8/2015 13:29 | My read is that Woodford is protecting what he has bought at a higher price by averaging down , plus there are no other big buyers out there so if he did not buy the share price would likely tank. The good news for you guys is that he has deep pockets and can buy up to 29.9% of the shares Thus the downside for now looks limited | buywell3
28/8/2015 13:08 | Indeed. I see Woodford has raised another £22m since the fund was launched and still has £200m left of the original fundraising so I expect to see him continue investing. This was his first investment after all | cc2014
27/8/2015 23:28 | Well spotted CC, if he acquires another 300K he'll go through another percentage unit and presumably trigger another holding RNS. | timbo003
27/8/2015 23:28 | duplicate post | timbo003
27/8/2015 22:55 | So, in conclusion it looks to me that Woodford must know something important because he keeps adding and adding. There's lots of opportunities out there - he's not adding to Sphere just for a bit of fun | cc2014
27/8/2015 22:54 | LOL.....good post @ 733...:-) WOW!! SPHR are now at least up dating their web site regularly.... Thanks again... | del44
27/8/2015 22:48 | No, not really. You can look here: Note OCD and Fidelity not selling | cc2014
27/8/2015 22:45 | After the last RNS from Woodford I took the amount of shares bought and trawled through the trades for the 3 months months before the purchase and then worked out the buys to match the exact amount of shares bought. I then noted the time and trade code and established the pattern. By extrapolation I can now work out when he is buying. | cc2014
27/8/2015 22:39 | Where did you get that info CC2014? Thanks... | del44
27/8/2015 21:17 | Woodford buy another 539,500 shares taking total holding to 26,664,500 (18.8%) | cc2014
24/8/2015 14:11 | The situation with OCD was clear for those who took the time and energy to read and digest. If you read every word of every RNS and watch the interviews, it was pretty clear before the placing at 16p than OCD weren't interested. They had first option though, so a process had to be followed. | cc2014
24/8/2015 11:39 | I note the share price of EKF is down today Thus it seems that such offers are at low prices the market is not impressed by Sorry but for SPHR , I don't think a bid is the answer to any newbe looking in Thing is with these new Small Cap stocks only about 1 in 10 ever make it to profits , newbes remember that one Better to buy the year before the profits start | buywell3
24/8/2015 09:32 | I suspect Woodford was well aware of the changing priorities at OCD given the recent change in ownership and I doubt if he bought on the strength of Sphere’s tie up with OCD. Having said that, I am sure that he was (and still is) well aware of Sphere’s strategic value to other larger industry participants. On a related subject, interesting to see some M&A activity this morning at EKF Diagnostics who have overlapping interests with Sphere: | timbo003
24/8/2015 08:09 | Re the latest RNS On a bit of further reflection , I think Mr Woodford probably bought here because of the Carlyle Group / Ortho Clinical Diagnostics interest. I can't see him buying on what SPHR have failed to achieve in the UK Will he buy more ? as I can't see him being able to sell such a holding now unless a cheeky bid comes in for the whole. | buywell3 |
