27/7/2016 18:53 | Could be so chase but we have heard it all before. False promises for too many years. Yes cpr and jv and finance packages. Agm and all that. | olufemisudem
27/7/2016 18:46 | " BIG RNS" You make me howl with laughter ;) | granltim
27/7/2016 18:27 | Omnia sint paribus, then yes. But there are variables, and from what I gather imminent updates due. Looking back at the last few RNS releases its difficult to poke holes in this. On balance I feel we will see +0.5 before we see -0.25. For sure we will see days of those with short term horizons take a quick buck (such as yesterday and today). But if the next couple of RNS releases are positive; CPR confirming previous thoughts with regards to recoverables and JV partner coming in... then who knows, maybe a 1p will be on the cards. | chasemanhattan
27/7/2016 16:58 | They been saying that for years and drrosso. This will make it one day in next 3 years but those subscription shares have killed it. Another year of low .2 to .3 prices imo. | olufemisudem

27/7/2016 15:44 | granldim you don't have no financial interest here if you were short on this you would have been out when this hit 0.18. your someone who is trying to scare people into selling their shares cheap. there was a character like you on the san leon bb he use to deramp that company into the ground and as soon as he big news came his not been heard from since. | deadly nightshade

27/7/2016 09:34 | DocRosso - AR's £400k funding commitment mentioned was to bridge the anticipated working capital shortfall over the course of the whole of this next financial year and ensure auditors signed us off as a going concern. Just like the large Calvet facility announced last year (only a portion of which was subsequently used), the announced formal commitment we received was critically important. However we don't know if we actually needed all of that money immediately or if we can wait and raise it at higher prices to minimise dilution. The Ororo licence fee wouldn't have been officially factored in at that stage by auditors as we hadn't released the news (albeit the Board will have known it was on the horizon) so it's possible that the £500k raised effectively replaced the proposed £400k for now....and additional equity will be raised in the future with far less dilution. So when you look at it, the company knew we'd require money this year....they accordingly received funding commitments from investors.....they told us money would be raised in July....and they've received funding this month. I doubt the investors mind what the money is actually used for just as long as it helps get us over the line. I also think that if the Board were minded to issue the remaining 125m @ 0.25p, why not just do it all in one go and announce 325m and be done with it. - The EIA approval states permission for drilling 3 wells and 'the installation of wellhead platforms'. That probably just gives us the flexibility to install 3 traditional platforms should we wish to, but there's nothing at all to say we actually have to do this. So we may well still opt for the single platform scenario you suggested if that is chosen as the best solution. | sherl0ck
27/7/2016 09:32 | what will the lowly shareholder get out of that arrangement, dr rosso? | jjcamargo
27/7/2016 09:13 | Said for ages that we'll be taken out at $2.2bn (£1.5bn). Far East must be favourites. Divide by no. of shares in issue when the time comes. Can't really see the point in Sirius remaining independent from Owena. An rto merger may bring share consolidation. In the end it boils down to how Ondo State leaders wish to proceed. Personally I can see Sirius being swept up into a merger, the final outcome being a major Ondo-Schlumberger-Si | dr rosso
27/7/2016 09:12 | 'Doc Rosso once predicted share price of 80p to £1.00' We don't know what the 'pipe line of assets' are....yet. When that prediction was made the BOD issued rns's that mentioned farming into 1bn barrel fields.. and there was talk of involvement in a similar block .We've not been told any more since....hence the prediction. (ps the two large blocks may be part of 'the pipe line' of assets) | htrocka2
27/7/2016 09:11 | Based on 1.5bn shares in issue, mcap of £1.5bn remains very much on once the package of assets is fully into production. That would've given us our quid. Heavy dilution to near on 3bn will cut that target share price down to 50p. Achievable over time esp if the Co. is intending to build from a substantial base and acquire distressed assets into the portfolio. Settle for 5p on Ororo producing, marching up to 10p on 241 revelation, 20p on 241 production, 50p+ on further developments. Blue skies ahead. | dr rosso
27/7/2016 09:04 | All delusional. Goodluck anyway lol | olufemisudem
27/7/2016 09:04 | Times have changed as have the dynamics 6CER | solarno lopez
27/7/2016 08:57 | Doc Rosso once predicted share price of 80p to £1.00 | 6cer
27/7/2016 08:57 | 'Bobo did say , and I quote, 'We have the volumetrics on the CPR which the funders would like to see finalised' If Schlumberger are to drill the three wells at Ororo, it seems strange for Bobo to make such a comment in view of the fact that Schlumberger have already made their own 'Independent Assessment' of the area....and know what's down there? | htrocka2
27/7/2016 08:37 | Sounds as though we could have decent share price after this Doc ? | solarno lopez
27/7/2016 08:35 | AR states there is a shortfall of £400k working capital and the money is expected to be raised in July. Note that this is separate from the £500k fee which is being paid to MPR and was recently raised by issuing 200m at 0.25p. Never mind all this preparation stuff. The big news will be who is coming in on the jv to fund 3 gas wells (for which 1 platform will be required, not 1 each). Schlumberger must be in pole position. 20% of the asset in return for project funding. Leaves a merged Sirius-Owena holding 80%, and GP bought off. No Ophir. Sirius role complete. Acquire the asset, prepare it, reverse back into its creator. | dr rosso
27/7/2016 08:33 | Sher10ck.. 'I wonder if there's anything else we're now waiting on before we make a decision on the best funding proposal and finally get cracking?' Bobo did say , and I quote, 'We have the volumetrics on the CPR which the funders would like to see finalised' | htrocka2
27/7/2016 08:12 | Another day closer and the 200m shares should come into play today, many of which I hope find their way into important accounts. Still not convinced we'll see an extra 0.25p placing so I wonder if there's anything else we're now waiting on before we make a decision on the best funding proposal and finally get cracking? | sherl0ck |
