23/5/2016 16:42 | 'how do you know the bod read this thread ?' There has been more than one occasion in the past whereby directors of other companies have threatened prosecution for posting defamatory remarks about their own company. One famous case where a company director deliberately posted lies about his company under a pseudonym so as to short his own shares. I was in GRL once and inaccurately posted a misleading piece of information...the CEO corrected me, on the boards, the following day (using his proper name) I double checked his info and found it to be correct. | htrocka2

23/5/2016 16:13 | 'Union Jack oil today posted an rns :-) nice to see an oil company keeping THEIR shareholders upto date:-)' Which tends to suggest that SRSP require their shareholders to be kept 'in the dark'....until they're ready.. | htrocka2
23/5/2016 16:07 | lol...think srsp are going to teach us there is a sucker born every minute...and whats not to like by spinning same yarn over 5 years and producing a decling share price graph with more and more shares in issue without having to show 1 jot off work??? | comedy

23/5/2016 15:51 | I'm certain that lessons have been learnt.....I'm also quietly confident that the jig saw is nearly complete. | htrocka2
23/5/2016 15:39 | HT - I have every confidence that history won't repeat itself. While the company suggested that work could commence anyway, if I was a potential funder I might want to see this field licence formally renewed first because it may impact Ororo being used as security against project debt. RNS 22/9/15: "Further to Sirius's announcement of 12 February 2015, the Parties have been working closely together with the DPR with regard to clarifying the licensing obligations in relation to the Ororo Field. The Sirius directors believe that the Well Permit, if granted, would be a significant step forward in this regard." With the DPR's blessing by way of the drill permit, the local community CSR work, NNRA licence, EIA survey & ERP submitted, and now CPR and field development plan, I'm sure Sirius and our partners must be exerting considerable leverage at the Ministerial level to speed up the formal renewal process and secure what might be one of the final pieces of the jigsaw. | sherl0ck
23/5/2016 15:38 | He is right bumhammer. | jimduggen
23/5/2016 15:09 | Putting your money in Sirius petroleum is the same as putting your savings in a toilet disguised as a money box and pulling the flush chain. | aventador
23/5/2016 14:24 | Yes just had a look at union jack. Might buy into that today. | jimduggen
23/5/2016 13:34 | Good point Sherl10ck...they may even have approached a previously utilised funder that are aware of the 'ropes'...... and again may have be given a deadline. The Board also announced that the DPR has granted Del Sigma, the | | indigenous partner of the Company, permission to re-enter the | | Ke-1 well, notwithstanding the Renewal of the license being | | outstanding. Based on the DPR's statement that no marginal | | fields will be included in the next bid round and upon the | | permission to re-enter the Ke-1 well, the Board is confident | | that the Renewal will be granted in the near future. The | | Company's trading facility on AIM will remain suspended until | | the Renewal is obtained, provided this is on or before 31 | | December 2010. Despite reassurances from the company the licence failed to materialise on time....as a consequence, the deal fell through. | htrocka2 |
