20/6/2015 23:18 | I would strongly agree with that article, the problem we have here now and it's not a good one is most people got hooked on the hype and believed the people making stories up on here myself included they have now vanished.. funny that when the share price has hit an all time low. With no funding in sight no deals on the table and very little volume suggests to me any chance of a deal being announced, funding being sorted or the sell off 'story' being revealed are unlikely to happen any time soon, if there was an imminent re rate likely these would be selling like hot cakes and quite frankly we can see they are not. | topgun1000
19/6/2015 17:40 | AIM’s private punters are lured in by the potential for big gains, especially among oil and gas explorers. But that means higher risk: a recent report revealed that one in 10 firms listed on AIM had lost at least 90% of their value over the past five years. For example, shares in low-cost African airline Fastjet, which is 10%-owned by easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, have gone into freefall, crashing 98% since its reverse acquisition of Fly540 in August 2012 as losses mounted. true true true | thundercat1
19/6/2015 16:54 | “AIM is a market suited to investors who are sophisticated, brave and patient,” Just about sums this lot up.... | htrocka2
19/6/2015 14:29 | Who told you that carbrad lol? | thundercat1
19/6/2015 14:22 | Carrbradshaw 19 Jun'15 - 13:56 - 33958 of 33960 "Could be a few months, could be sooner or later or could even fall through but shouldn't." There's about 5 different possibilities in that sentence... Pin the tail on the donkey, anyone? | ropot
19/6/2015 14:18 | We'll see Dr R, we'll see. Neither of us have been proved right yet! | carrbradshaw
19/6/2015 14:13 | "this will be a joint venture and Sirius Petroleum will be very much part of it" Yet more complete bolox to add to the stream of bullhsit leaked out by this bunch of liars. Nima will provide the farm in fee ($50m - $100m) on behalf of Sirius, then NewCo steps in. Yes, Havoc team will be managing production. | dr rosso
19/6/2015 13:56 | Am hearing that they are in discussions with a few companies for the development of the big block - this will be a joint venture and Sirius Petroleum will be very much part of it, they won't be bought out. Ororo very much on back burner. Could be a few months, could be sooner or later or could even fall through but shouldn't. Havoc heavily involved so this is good. | carrbradshaw
19/6/2015 13:47 | Topgun. I'm glad we never made any deals with the previous crooked, blackmailing regime. From this mornings Nigerian press now claim that the original missing £20bn has grown to a sky rocketing $50bn...that's staggering...and you want us to be part of that?. I'll wait for the new Government policy to kick in. 'Following allegations of massive fraud, the two chambers of the National Assembly have been advised to commence investigation into the activities of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), particularly in the areas of crude oil swap programme and offshore processing agreements (OPAs).' | htrocka2
19/6/2015 10:41 | 75% drop over 52 weeks shocking shocking performance when last year we where promised so much..mainly by delusional rampers on here where are they all now probably to embarrassed to post. My take is we will probably see another remedial update more stalling followed by another drop, not much lower it can go then if a miracle occurs we may well see some real juicy announcement as to whats been going on behind the scenes for the last year, hopefully some agreement or deal to sell the whole lot, nothing else will buck the share price back up as i dont beleive they have any plans themselves to fund and drill for oil. So forecast i see is overcast with a spell of drizzle followed by maybe an autumn late heatwave either that or its kaput. | topgun1000
19/6/2015 10:29 | I would say that the next RNS will be lights out as the salary pot will be empty!! And that my little scrotes is about what it been about!! Salaries!! | granitetim

18/6/2015 09:01 | Master of Disaster, Dr Rosso and fatty Fatty Fatty Bom Bom Sherlock making all this stuff up lol We'll be still readin all this guff in 2058 | chris shiherlis
18/6/2015 08:15 | So with such large prospective farm in fees I think it's fair to say that funding has to be linked with a takeover. Still can't imagine a £9m mcap company raising this level of debt with a view to then move to long term production......not when they could have raised money at a far higher share price and started drilling a couple of years ago. Talk of time dragging on = opportunity cost of missed production revenues, is only really of any consequence to the Board if they don't have their eyes firmly set on a big takeover. Personally I think that's always been their raison d'être from the start. | sherl0ck
18/6/2015 08:14 | The mythical 241.Doc you seem to be well informed. How can we actually own 241 if its currently(as far as anyone knows)being decided by a court of law who is the owner which bares no mention of srsp.Doc help me out on this one pls Im still a freshmen at this game.Thxs. | trigsy12
18/6/2015 07:53 | 15 months from May 2014 agreement sounds about right to me judging on other similar large O&G deals in Nigeria. Whoever is coming in needs to show $15m deposited in escrow for Ororo, and $50m+ farm in fee for 241. At that point we`ll see a PSC, but it won`t be with Sirius, it`ll be with NewCo but they have to go through Sirius to get it. | dr rosso
17/6/2015 23:53 | 241 Is the one they always wanted that is the valuable jewel. The partners need to see that farm in fee and a plan to develop before they are happy, we need to convince Ophir that it is in their best interest to loan us the money via the back door to secure the farm in and then revert to them once that is complete, or we need to finance that ourselves and judging by the funding nonsense of that it could be harder than we are all led to believe. Block is key everything else is nonsense. Will it drag for another year or will these people do what they are supposed to do and get this deal done. Havoc brought in to do the analysis of the oil and the legal team nailing down the paperwork. Not an easy process but they have had quite long enough. | chris shiherlis
17/6/2015 23:49 | About time this lot told us the truth, stalling for time whilst the DD is done by Ophir. We need money to farm into 241 and after that we'll be snapped up by Ophir, Farm in to the block is key. No farm in no value here. Maybe hidden behind closed doors of these subsidiary companies meaning we may never know and simply get a take out RNS. Lets bloody hope so hey. | chris shiherlis
17/6/2015 23:11 | All we've got to do is get it out of the ground.. | htrocka2
17/6/2015 20:22 | In-house Swiss set-up, not to be confused with Calvert International. Simply a means of accumulating shares for its owner. Withdrew a £1.5m loan facility convertible at 2.5p only to come back a few months later with a replacement that converts at sub-1p. | dr rosso
17/6/2015 19:42 | Who are Calvet anyway? I have just read that they already had a 1.5mil deal with Sirius in 2013. Therefore I am not sure we can assume anything based on the amount and/or source of the funding. | rchanter99
17/6/2015 15:54 | The £200k is for working capital at the Nigeria end. The remainder is irrelevant, simply a share-collecting mechanism. | dr rosso
17/6/2015 12:28 | But they have only lent £200k ... any more being at their sole discretion. Suspect the 70m shares they got in exchange (and sold?) have swelled their coffers sufficiently to lend a little more, but who knows. | the drewster |
