There'll be bluebirds over
The white cliffs of Dover,
Tomorrow, just you wait and see.

I'll never forget the people I met
braving those angry sky's
I remember well as the shadows fell
the light of hope in their eyes
and though I'm far away I still can hear them say
Sun's up
for when the dawn comes up

There'll be bluebirds over
The white cliffs of Dover,
Tomorrow, just you wait and see.

There'll be love and laughter
And peace ever after.

FBH, the so called derampers were calling this a selling when it was 3-4 p while the Dr and his sheep were buying (or were they?). Where is the saviour Dr Robber now? Over the past year nothing these so called "experts or insiders" has said has actually happened and if they are being fed anything it's BS! Anyways it will take a 400% rise just to get this back to where most decided to invest and with the possibility of big dilution on the way that ain't gonna happen. Never fall in love with a share folks.

Last post of LSE bit harsh on the Doc me thinks.

I'm beginning to see the critical role that Matthew Clarke (Merlin Partners founder) has played in this whole thing. We know he was instrumental in the establishment of Ophir, working closely with Stein & Taylor as a seed shareholder, raising their financing and likely introducing major investors such as Kulczyk, Mittal & Och Ziff. Even now Merlin is highlighted as a key partner to Havoc (hxxp://www.havocpartners.com/about-us/) and Clarke currently sits alongside Stein on the Board of another Havoc investment, Bahari Resources.

But it's apparent that Clarke's Ophir association has extended beyond the reign of the original founders. In June 2011 he was instrumental in their widely heralded IPO, which coincides with the appointment of CEO Nick Cooper. Since then he's worked closely with Nick, providing 'continued advice in the public market' in 2012 and leading on a successful £553m placing & rights issue in 2013. We're led to believe that he (alongside Ajami) is also heavily involved in Ophir's current financial restructuring.

It's also now apparent that before Bill Higgs was appointed Ophir's COO last August, Clarke worked alongside him for almost 2 years when both sat on the Board of Mediterranean O&G (Mar 2012 - Jan 2014), which was eventually sold to Rockhopper. And as a Director at Robert Fleming from 1996-2001, Clarke potentially will have worked alongside Ophir's current non-exec Chairman, Nicholas Smith, who was previously a longstanding Fleming Director, leading their international M&A work until 2000. So his relationship with Ophir spans both current and former executives.

Interesting therefore that Sirius introduced Merlin as our very own 'retained financial advisor' on 25/11/14 and even admit in the same RNS that Clarke's influence clearly preceded this date "Merlin HAS BEEN advising the Company on the Loan, the subscription, the appointment of Havoc Partners and the formation of the Technical Advisory Committee".

His role in Sirius beyond last Autumn's efforts largely remains to be seen, but as a critical link between Sirius, Havoc & Ophir, we can hazard a pretty good guess as to exactly what his magic wand may help conjure up.

Shares market is risky, only a fool relies on the AIM to buy the car they want.

I suppose there are plenty of fools around though.

drrichard... I'll sleep when this lot is done and dusted,

The Nigerian Media confirms that there has been misconduct with regards to Offshore Processing Agreements, ( a euphemism for brown envelopes via 'signature payments').... which probably has some baring on why SRSP are not up and running....yet.

“That none of the NNPC officials was arrested or detained by the EFCC or the DSS in connection with investigation into the crude swap programme and the Offshore Processing Agreements.

Yet another one caught with his fingers in the till... It seems to be engrained in their culture to think that just because you are made responsible for the control of other peoples money that it entitle and gives you the right to skim a percentage off the top...(having said that, my ex accountant comes to mind)

Related topic...Buhari is in control and cracking the whip.

It's amazing how, just after a couple of weeks in office, and suddenly five years of fuel scarcity has been resolved...(let's not mention selling the sprits abroad and claiming the subsidy)...and just blame it on poor maintenance, that coincidentally are being completed all at the same time on various refineries.

“I want to assure Nigerians that we are coming to the end of this scarcity as the measures taken by the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, NNPC and other stakeholders take hold.
